When I was in Israel in 2017 the tour guide played this as we entered the city of Jerusalem. I lost it and wept on and off for about 3 hours. I felt like i was home. The tour guide was as amazed as I was at the impact it had on me. Gods presence was so evident I will never forget it. ❤
He was in Arkansas tonight with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and the Chorus of Harding University. The concert was over 2 hours of incredible music. He mentioned being here with the Tabernacle.
Singing , praising, brings the presence, of Divine, , beside the the awesome presence of Legend Emmit Cahill. It is powerful..Emmet has such a professional voice, tender, at times , yet powerful..Envisioning a Believers Crusade, with Such singing..to introduce..the miraculous night.
Che Dio vi benedica grandemente tutti ora e in eterno gloria eterna a Dio Padre gloria eterna a Gesù Cristo gloria eterna allo Spirito Santo nei secoli dei secoli senza fine amen Alleluyia
I don't mean to quibble, but the proper title of this hymn is "The Holy City". "Jerusalem" is a completely different piece, sometimes regarded as the unofficial national anthem of England.
3:37. “… the gates were opened WIDE, And ALL WHO WOULD, MIGHT ENTER, And NO ONE was DENIED…”. The UNfathomal MERCY of God… He INVITES ALL. Forces no one.
@@gunnlauritsen1152 The composer named it The Holy City. Where you are from cannot change that. Jerusalem is a rousing and popular hymn. They are not the same.
@shadeyholt @marshallbowen8693 “The Holy City” was written by Michael Maybrick (pseudonym Stephen Adams). It was sung in Afrikaans by Ge Korsten who called it “Jerusalem.” It is not to be confused with the song “Jerusalem” that’s considered the 2nd national anthem of England. So, yes it does depend on where you are from…. And The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square - does their research and wouldn’t call it “Jerusalem” if it wasn’t also known as “Jerusalem.”

It does not matter what it is called (not worth the bickering), it is till magnificent
Emmet is singing The Holy City not the hymn Jerusalem.
It actually goes by both names, depends on where you are from in the world 🌍
