I spent an afternoon in the archives of Ancona, researching Oddo Marinelli, a relative, and resistance leader. I was amazed at how helpful and knowledgeable the archivists were. A very old man sent me to visit another ancient man who knew my grandfather. That man turned me on to a whole book about Zio Oddo.

In America per dire 2500 dicono 25 hundred...noi eravamo abituati ( male ) coi millesimi della lira ,che inserì il ventennio per via dell'ignoranza del periodo , così era più facile fare i conti ,(vedi pesetas,pesos o anche lo yen)...ma prima anche la lira non aveva i millesimi come il dollaro o l'euro... Esempio: se un auto costa 3600 dollari...loro dicono 36 hundreds...

Don't they say, justice delayed is justice denied ..?! 🤔 Get your act in time, Marisa. Solving cases after a hundred years after is a tad late. If you have to be born a hundred years ahead, do it ..! Justice cant be delayed. Jus sayin.

E corretto.Nell'inglese americano parlato si usa esprimere i numeri in centinaia, quindi 25 hundred significa 2500
