Hello great video About to sway bar bushing on 2018 WRX. In the video you don’t say what the toque specs for sway bar bushing.. what is the toque specs on the bushing .. thanks
Thanks for this! Question, do you think your jpipe heat burned off the stock bushings before installing the TBW Skid plate? I know the TBW skid plate opened up that section which could help with cooling. Just trying to decide if I should re-wrap my jpipe.
It was definitely the j-pipe, I really noticed it when I was doing the header cause I had just got home from work and wanted to break the bolts loose while it was still hot and I noticed the wet rubber material around the bushing.
Thanks for the videos ! When replacing the bushings only , does the car need to be unloaded (lifted with wheels off ground ) or loaded wheels on ramps ?
For this install I feel it was easier to do with the car lifted and no stress on the sway bar to be able to get the bushings out smoother. So I would say lift it to get the load off and then lower it onto ramps if you like to tighten up the rest of the way, but I just tightened mine while in the air and have had no issues. now if I were to do sway bar I would defiantly wait till I had it on ramps to tighten it to spec. Hope this info helps you big dawg!

You have a stock sway bar in this video?
Yes sir, I don’t plan to upgrade the front sway bar right now.
