As a hardcore Jin Kazama fan, this game made me very, very happy. Definitely the best Tekken installment in the rich franchise. Tk8 is the best fighting game that came out recently.

As a fan of Tekken since T4,im so happy with the story mode in this game. Im not even a big fan of Jin but this game was needed to right the wrongs done to his character since t3 ended. Im not a big fan of the overdesigned Devil designs,so i was very happy that they "punched out" all the devil Gene/magic aspects and it ended in a brutal 1v1 duel between Kazuya and Jin. Maybe its cuz T4 was my first game in the series,but Kazuya has grown into one of my favorite villians in Gaming. Dude lost the Devil powers and said "So? That aint been nothing to me besides and extension of my power." My favorite moment is when Jin is having Flashbacks and you see Devil Jin fading Away,his Mother's warmth and Guidance,but the one that a really got me is when Ling's face appeared. Ling had kept her faith in Jin longer than anyone,and all Jin wanted to do was Live to see a Life with Ling Possible and that brought tears to my eyes.
Jin Kazama is one of the best protagonists in fighting game history. But I respect your opinion and agree with most of what you wrote, especially the Devil Gene stuff

This is insane. The man hasn't played this game in years, didn't do the tutorial, didn't know the basic commands, didn't resort to button mashing/using cheap tricks (for the most part), and managed to do hard mode. All the while people are calling him a bad player. What?! 😭

Is this game the best looking tekken for sure but I can’t deny this story is cheeks 80% of the fight as are kazuya it got old by the time angel jin vs true demon kazuya fight to the point I couldn’t enjoy it it was a whole pile of meh whoever decided the game should be this way I would love to enter the tournament against and give him more lumps than chicken pox
