Here is a new gadget related video. It documents the steps I took to revive my old USB powered desk fan. It's also my first attempt at doing my own narration as well as using my hand drawn images to make my video more interesting. It's was very challenging but I did learn new ways of doing things. I do welcome your feedbacks on how to improve the quality of my videos. Thanks again for watching!

i have simmiliar looking fan, i cannot service the circuit board, so i use step up converter XL6009 laying around, from 5v input set it to 11volt, and the motor running great to this day

Great to hear you found a way to make it work! The circuit in my fan was unusable so I had to get drastic.

Hi there! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I originally had a cap on one of the transistors but I never got it to self start and ended up removing it.

      @@s2ka-arts Oh that's a shame.
So you have to keep the front cover off?

@@danatmonst3594 Yes, I had to keep it off but it does make for easy cleaning.

I see. If it still works when switched on then it's not a major problem. Simply turn it on and off using the switch and avoid disconnecting while it is still running. Hope this helps.
