Hello Mr. Charlie!! Just a good note.....the twin cam heads you did for me last year performed great. You asked for dyno numbers with the cam I used......116 torque from 2400 up to 5300. Extremely flat curve. 109 HP...quick rise on curve peaking at 5700. Thanks for the great work and our conversations. Extremely usable and fun to ride on street. Not bad for a daily rider and 95 inches.
@@ShortBlockCharlie As of right now the transmission is running just fine so, if it ain't broke don't fix it...If I do more touring I may just do a complete swap for a 6 speed but until now Im really happy with my RK. I just installed the Fueling 525 Reaper Cam Chest Kit....Now that was money well spent, it really did wake up the bike. You do have to change the ECM so I also installed the new ThunderMax box. I'm really impressed with that system. Money really well spent.
aloha I have a gen 3 transmission and 3rd gear has rounded to nothing where the dog leg hooks up. would you have a replacement 3rd gear ty happy memorial day
Does this improve resistance for abuse? I have a m8 with a mild cam and I stripped 3rd gear. I’m looking to get the old unit rebuilt so I can set it on the shelf and have a small price of mind.

Can you replace gears in the 6 speed with gears from a 5 speed?

you need to check its a screaming part you can't use new type transmission cases. I would leave it alone

Can you make gen2 not neutral chatter and stop 1st gear clunk
yes we can install the M-8 low gear cost is $80 extra
M8 low gear will stop neutral chatter and the clunk
It will fix both problems
