After test driving other compact suvs this one definitely sands apart from the rest. For the price it drove very sporty and the interior quality set itself apart
We're looking at one as well - we drove a Rav4 to compare and there's no contest. I had a 2015 Mazda3 that I put 170k miles on without a single failure. I'm sold on that engine.
I have a 2017 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring in that awesome red color, even though it's so defective and has chips everywhere. I've been shopping around for a new car and I might just upgrade to the new CX5's. I love this car for it's price.
Unfortunately, Mazda will be raising prices back to where they used to be.. Mazda implemented crazy price decreases to capture more buyers and as we see it worked with the CX-5 being their most popular model but they couldn’t keep it up like that forever. Projected base price for a CX-5 in the year 2025 will be in the mid to high 30 range
@@theredsalmon612 I was really referring to dealer pricing which is what’s most important.. we don’t have the 2025 right now either but it’s not likely to be below $30k, despite what MazdaUSA says. If you look on Mazda’s website, it shows what the base price of the entry level CX5 is projected to be but right below that it shows as specd, that entry model they have on there is $41k
What are you talking about? Car quietness is not exemplified by how quiet the car becomes when you shut the door but how quiet it is when cruising on the highway at high speeds. Almost every car can eliminate most ambient exterior noise when sitting still but not so much when moving.
Kinda weird might be the mic but that engine is pretty loud for a brand new car with the hood up. Kinda curious about that, as most newer cars are near silent.
I ordered a 24 GT and I’m getting it in 2 weeks. A few changes I remember are the 24 GT gets body colored cladding around the fenders and front and rear bumper (like the signature model), Apple CarPlay is wireless instead of wired and there was one more significant change that stood out but I can’t remember it
Well you know what they say, if you don't have a fast car, you better be a fast driver lmao. Also, no matter what car you drive, I genuinely believe it is imperative to know exactly what the car's limits are, what it can and can't do, as well as knowing what your limits are using said car. You never know when you might need to make an evasive maneuver of drive as fast as you can.

Michigan roads , and the car survived. Love it.

2:12 One of the reasons why I bought this over the competition was the sound insulation. It is quiet on the inside like a more expensive luxury car.

the engine starting sound of mazda is always loud, it will lower immediately when you start driving
it's a direct injection engine with chain, it's not gonna be quiet..... that's a normal sound for it.
arent there suppose to be power liftgate and bose subwoofer?
Chip shortage may have removed those features and given a small discount off sticker price. The Bose is a must have feature for me
I love everything about this car, except from that stupid screen sitting on top of the dash. Would it kill them to embed it lower?
Mazda says they do it like that for safety. It's prevents you from constantly looking down. Which makes sense
honestly is there any driving/handling difference between this and a Lexus NX 350 turbo (or 200T/300 previous gen)?
0:33 lmfaoo looks like you just got mad at it
can anyone tell me why the steering wheels in Mazda's don't turn back slowly after completing a turn like most cars do?
they do, it may just be a slower ratio than what you have used before
@@theredsalmon612no they actually snap back fast. They have a lot of castor for a fwd car.
