Since he's the main character, a lot of the show was about other people teaching him lessons after he screwed up. It's really satisfying when he got to flip that around in a deadly accurate way. Harsh harsh truth. Loved it!
I remember being lonely as hell and my friends moaning about their relationships all the time. Im married with a kid now so i do value it so much as i remember being lonely.
@@AdamWebb1982 well put, genuinely my favourite moment from scrubs. It’s real. They just don’t make shows like this anymore. I’m glad you came out of it @eamonnbr
dude its got nothing to do with him being pushed around. it goes to show that most people just go through life whining about their relationships when they dont realize how lonley some people are and how good they have it

Definitely one of my top three favourite Scrubs moments, along with JD telling Elliot that he loves her more than Turk, and another one which I actually can´t remember atm... ^^
In all fairness it does suck when your lifes a complete fucking mess and you have to sit back and watch other people bitch about their perfect lifes when everyday you wish you could have what they have but enduring all this makes you a stronger person and appreciate what you do have
Bummer that this was one of the seasons where they didn't license the music in perpetuity because the ending song and monologue are absolutely perfect together. The replacement music is hot garbage.
ago 😬 DUDE, IT WAS PRETTY WEIRD SEEING HIM GET MAD LIKE THAT! 😳 HE LEGIT SOUNDED P*SSED OFF SAYING "SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" 😰 PS: THAT LITTLE "UGH" AT THE END THO SOUNDED SO PRISSY AND FEMININE THO! 🤦🏻♂️😅
Yup, I had that exact same conversation with a bunch of friends a few years ago. They were making fun of me because I called my girlfriend of the time to tell her I was coming home. At the time, my relationship was 5 years old and none of my friends had ever been in a serious relationship.
Its wild to see that they’re all afraid of the happiness they finally got and then fast forward to when JD and Elliot finally get back together and he feels the same way.
thanks for the comments guys, the same sort of things was running through my head, then this came on scrubs. sometimes i feel like JD. hah :-) thanks again
best moment in scrubs ever! though the Lavern( or at least i think it's lavern, but it might be the lady that showed up after she died) thing at the end ruins the moment a bit , even though it's kinda funny "Did I miss something good?"
I'm gonna take a hard left to the other comments and say JD is my least favorite character. It's natural to talk to your friend about the gripes you have in your relationship. We all need to blow off steam. As usual though, JD takes advantage of the situation to deflect and make everyone else feel shitty about their totally normal relationships to distract them from the fact that he is literally cheating on a guy in a coma while being his doctor. JD is easily the biggest piece of crap in Scrubs.
But that's kind of the point. He used his questionable situation to make everyone see how they were all making mountains out of molehills in their "normal" relationships. His situation was the real mountain. And hearing everyone else's gripes made them all seem like idealists to him, who predictably called out his big mistake, but perhaps knew nothing about what desperation or even basic human "flaws" can drive someone to do without moralized remorse. and their other relationships were not* going well, idk about "normal". It's why his lashing of Dr. Cox stood out to me the most. Dr. Cox wants everyone to see him as the one with a mountain. For once, he's not. That bothers him, and JD made him know it. There was a new king of crap in town.
Since he's the main character, a lot of the show was about other people teaching him lessons after he screwed up. It's really satisfying when he got to flip that around in a deadly accurate way. Harsh harsh truth. Loved it!
This is one of my favorite JD moments. It gives development to his character i love it
I agree ..its so true what he shouts at them some people are alone x
J. D. Is right
I remember being lonely as hell and my friends moaning about their relationships all the time. Im married with a kid now so i do value it so much as i remember being lonely.
this is one of the reasons i made this video at the time. And its still true today.

I'm here right after the episode just to see if anyone has uploaded his speech, because it is probably one of his best...
i miss scrubs. Been a long while!
I love John Dorian! He is the thing that makes the show live!
I relish any moment where JD stands up to Dr. Cox.
Don't we all, my friend. Don't we all. :)
Dr. Cox secretly enjoyed those moments.
Scrubs was just such a likeable and relatable show, even this scene is relatable to, I'm sure, virtually everyone. Loved it, such an amazing show!
Damn for a 2007 upload this is great video quality
I love Laverne 😂

Literally gives me shivers....
Definitely one of my top three favourite Scrubs moments, along with JD telling Elliot that he loves her more than Turk, and another one which I actually can´t remember atm... ^^
He needed more moments like that
Laverne: Did I miss something good?
Me: Did you ever.
I like this speech so much, I'm using it in an audition xD
How'd it go?
This is my favorite rant from anybody in any season
Yeah, dude, this show has really helped me deal with some stuff literally. It's kinda weird...
Thanks for posting, dude! :D
Nurse Roberts something else 😂
This is... a great scene. Wow. Amazing.
My absolute favourite scene from the whole show!
Aaaw this one was too good. Felt it to my core
In all fairness it does suck when your lifes a complete fucking mess and you have to sit back and watch other people bitch about their perfect lifes when everyday you wish you could have what they have but enduring all this makes you a stronger person and appreciate what you do have

Cox calls JD Hooch and he goes off.
Hooch is crazy!
so memorable. thanks for posting this exact moment
I love JD so much!
He's a hypocrite though he is hands down the neediest character on the show.
Love lavern in The end xD
Great stuff from JD. Best moment from season 2.
His acting in this explosion is extraordinary. But I do feel sorry for J.D.
Bummer that this was one of the seasons where they didn't license the music in perpetuity because the ending song and monologue are absolutely perfect together. The replacement music is hot garbage.

i know exactly how he feels couldnt have been better said
Cox is best character! KING OF THE RANT!
woww i love laverne :D
And then he goes and gets Elliot. And throws it away right away.
Bambi got bite!
I wish I could be this brave one day to be honest…
this is the best ever moment in scrubs.
Standing ovation for J.D. here!!
He should’ve had this outburst when they shamed him for not wanting to forgive Kim.
Indeed! That and along with the "your jealous" crap Elliott threw at JD when she went over to private practice 😒
best rant ever.......
Boy speaks the truth
So realtable

Hope you have em what for mate? You 2 still together.
Its wild to see that they’re all afraid of the happiness they finally got and then fast forward to when JD and Elliot finally get back together and he feels the same way.
thanks for the comments guys, the same sort of things was running through my head, then this came on scrubs. sometimes i feel like JD. hah :-)

You've just made my day. Also, your name is pretty cool! :D

So relatable.

Reminds me of my life.
great news! Thanks!
BRAVO!!!
that's exactly what i'm thinking when i see/hear my friends and parents fight with their gf/bf over nothing....
And that, boys and girls, is what testicular fortitude looks like.
Imagine if they had one-shotted it

Did I miss'd something good?
hehe no problem, scrubs is funny, but serious too sometimes... shame series 7 has died half way through :-(

You haven't watched the episode, the man had been in a come for YEARS. He isn't coming out of it. Its not cheating.
