Mikee!!! So excited to binge on your 3 latest videos I haven't watched. I'm with you on the current state of mind. I think it's just part of getting older and 40s coming up for me hehe. Lots of realizations in life and that's why I really enjoy this format of vlog you put out here. I haven't been on social media posting for a few days now because of this feeling with the world and even politics. It is wild nowadays but I'm glad to be alive in this day and age. Glad that your mom is doing good and also that you are getting another dog! I totally understand where you're coming from when it comes to adopting dogs in shelters vs buying from a responsible breeder. I've had a looong discussion and thoughts about it with my husband for years. Until Lyme hit, learned so much about health, and realized that we cannot just adopt a random dog even if that's where my heart is at. People mostly won't understand especially when a person don't really have a lot of knowledge when it comes to health in particular and why adopting dogs without knowing medical background of both parents and the puppy can harm someone with underlying health condition. Anyway, this is a long topic to cover hahah but I'm so happy to watch your vlog. Off to the next videos you have heheh

You don't have to be political to be a human being and know something is very wrong. I hope you found some comfort in sharing with us. It's important! For me, being in the UK, I always wanted to move to the US, it was always so exciting and innovative. But today, you couldn't pay me to live there. The division is too much. There's so much beauty in the US so I hope to always be able to visit but otherwise I worry for my friends who live there.
Good decision to stay put! The divide is out of control, but I agree... there's so much beauty and wonder here. I actually thought the pandemic would be that beautiful disaster that would bring us together but boy was I wrong.

Have missed your vlogs Mikee! I’m watching this from Japan at the moment and can completely relate with having a new perspective .. after being here and seeing how everything seems to “work”, it is incredible to see the country come together as a society and yet back home in Australia (a wealthy developed economy), we struggle with basic needs like access to affordable housing, education and even food. It’s definitely hard not to feel depressed and I can only imagine how uncertain it must feel as an American. I find limiting news consumption when I am drained helps … and more gaming in the meantime 😊

I just did my first live and I started out okay but got so nervous at the end!! 🙈 but please do it, we would love to see. also know how you feel about the world. since I already in a shaky space (looking for work after a layoff) I have basically turned my blinders on to many things so I can stay in a better headspace. I know that is best for me at this point in time. wishing a quick recovery for your mom! anyways, love seeing your content!

I have a girl long haired cream chihuahua named Honey and I want another one. The lady I got her from has had another litter I’m soo tempted since the look and temperament of my Honey is perfect. She’s the sweetest most social dog for people and dogs and isn’t a barker. I will get another girl but I would like a different colour.

Hey. I really think you’ve gotta block out what’s going on in the world. You just have to do you. I know it’s tempting to engage and swirl in your own thoughts about it, but if that’s not your role in life, then don’t engage in it. Some people’s mission in life is to be an activist or a politician or an SJW but some people’s role in life is to be the best version of themselves for themselves and the other people in their life. Or to be an artist or a chef or a documentarian or journalist. And they can only engage with the world enough so that it can give their work purpose and meaning. But they can’t let it bring them down and stop their momentum bc it’s not their journey. Just double down on what makes you happy and fulfilled and excited and let go of the rest. even if you do have low faith in the future, there’s not much you can do about it unless that’s going to be your mission in life-to make it better. we all have a purpose here so everyone should flourish in their own lane, that’s what we need, people being authentically themselves. and clearly your lane is creativity and family and exploration so just keep doing that. it’s ok to express overwhelm, just wanted to give my two cents on you feeling lost and losing momentum on content creation.
