Okay, this is valuable information, and I've been wondering what is the alternative to feeding myself, but can we appreciate the absolute devastation of that Trizooka 3:21
Trizooka sweep
1:58 best missiles explenation ever
Stalling is my favorite part of the dating metagame
2:57 I like how you labeled this part of your play as "pushing," even if it was defending against the opposing team scoring. Thinking about it, trying to break the enemy's formation as they attack your goal is pretty similar to breaking their defenses to start a push of your own, and comes with many of the same dangers - just on a different part of the map. Lots to think about from this video, thanks as always for the silly squid game content :0
I like the way you label everything you're doing in the game footage. It makes it easier to understand.
I think this plays into a concept that's not obvious. Having a good K/D doesn't mean you played good. It's a fair indicator, but sometimes you can accomplish a lot more for the objective and your team by throwing yourself at the ennemy when it's called for. This explains why people get salty and blames their team for having a very high K/D but a losing streak of 20 games in S rank.
2:07 I know the importance of painting to jam up ur opponent, but I never thought of doing so even when I have the element of surprise. Depending on the match up, it could be smarter to setup instead of going straight for the kill. good strat to keep in mind 👍
3:20 That Trizooka tho! lol Was awesome to watch! ^^
i feel your pain on that clams match lol it was basically 3v4 the entire time even with that triple kill on your zooka
In spite of the fact I’m an x rank player I didn’t know this. I’ve only really stalled in clam blitz to stop pushes with toxic mist and back in the day when I wanted to skirmish with the sploosh. I didn’t know how powerful it is in disadvantage tho
Playing a Touhou game 1:58 🤣
Good information, also loving the Touhou reference
hockey and Splatoon?? gem it's like you made this video just for me and my special interests
He did, you are the only person who likes hockey. Everyone else hates it /j
I know right! I love hockey as well!

As a Bloblobber player that is frequently the only one alive on the team, I know full well how to stall. Yay [laughs through the pain of being destroyed in S rank]
I’m a forge splattershot pro player and relate
One thing I'm unsure of: you discuss that stalling is for a disadvantage state to decrease what your enemy can get done. What is the disadvantage at 3:37? Just that they have high ground? But then it stops being a disadvantage after...
Or is the disadvantage that their team is grouped together and your team is not, so a push would act like 4 1v4s?
They have control of a choke point, so if we push, we'll just go down. It stops when an inkjet goes out, overwhelming force to counter their positional advantage
@@SquidSchool ahhh, I see! Thank you for the reply
To be honest, I was so mesmerized by the kshot……. I mean….. vshot gameplay that I forgot to listen to what you were saying
Imagine hitting 4 players with one trizooka but still losing the game.
I didn't know gem was a trizooka main
After watching the state-machine text at the bottom of the footage... Is the "hitting the sickest Trizooka of my entire career" state between "painting for special/collecting information" and "pushing" a state we should be on the lookout for to make sure we don't fall into bad habits or autopilot as we're trying to improve? 😂
Based squid knowledge
no, YOU'RE based for not saying "first" despite being first
I need to get better in that front
can someone explain what "playing a touhou game" means at 1:59 im guessing its a stalling tactic or something?
Dodging a large quantity of projectiles. References the arcade-like Bullet Hell game Touhou.
touhou is a game where you gotta dodge stuff coming at you fast (bullethell), and missles were landing at that moment, so he was comparing dodging missiles to a bullethell.
@@ebluegamer5397 ohh ok ty!! that makes sense lolol
5:20 I don't understand this analogy at all
Pretend every line of paint is about to kill you instantly without warning
If you dont have map control its super common for rollers to shark and get the jump on you to snowball their advantage.
