Great video, really useful. So much quicker than trying to download and install them all. It really helped me to understand what UI elements appeal to me the most. Thanks!
😃Thank you for this video.I Recently got a Raspberry pi 4 and try and learn to get more out of it.A Nice selection if themes in the video, hard to choose so I got a bunch of em.Have a Nice day
Gotta give you a thumbs up for making this video. I was curious to see and compare what I like best without physically downloading all of them. CABSNAZZY Is the best theme for me.
Good video, but with one major problem: no text of which theme is currently presented. This forces me to try to find the part where the theme selection UI is shown.
What I see is that there is no much consistency in the regions shown. Sometimes it's Mega Drive, other times it's Genesis, the SNES is sometimes European other times it's North American and so on, sometimes even mixed (e.g. Genesis with a Euro SNES), and that leaves something to be desired. They are mostly awesome though, so much choice.
I feel like a bit of an idiot but I just cannot find where to download themes for ES if your not using Retropie. I just want the themes to add to my folder for ES (PS Classic) using ERIS. Some class themes in here but all vids and links i find show you how to get themes from retropie. Cannot find much at all... Anyone can help be awesome? Thanks for the showcase vid also :) Its like there are loads of great vids about themes and 'top 5' 'new themes' etc but nothing on where to get them - other than retropie.
i m trying to load Pit Fighter, but when i press the button goes to the game but does now show and back to menu again. does anyone knows here how to fix it, how can get it run?
Are there pre-made collections for genres and companies? Asking because I'm thinking of getting an arcade cabinet, where I'll ONLY have arcade games, no console/handheld.
I have a question, I use art book with odoid, I don't know how to activate last played and favorite? can you tell me how do you have them with yours? thanks Pierre
I love the spaceoddity console scrolling style. But i want to do that to my game scrolling, anyone know of how to do that? Edit: i just found out its called the vertical wheel style
Great video man. Very nice to be able to see them all laid out in a video. Saving us alot of time. When you run Retropie on your PC do you have the same issues with n64 games like you do on Raspberry Pi?
say you where to use an n64 processor and gpu chip in your raspberry pi machine are there any additional components you'd need to install to your firmware for it to read and use these alternate parts or would it do it automatically?
MrRockfish01 no worries. That build just has the consoles. There is a 32GB version that will be dropping soon which has the handhelds included. From game and watch all the way up to game boy advance.
You put all of your mame/fbalpha ROMs in the arcade folder and it groups them all together. Depending on your romset you can also put your neogeo games in the same folder

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar
Thank you man great video
Yes, agreed, like the other commenters have said... this video saved me a lot of time. Keep cranking them out.
Thank you, very good stuff and informative.
I'll download Minimal, Pixel metadata, Royal primicia, Snes mini and Stirling. Metadata and a big screenshot are key for me
I love eudora, futura, tronkyfan, showcase, and epic noir.

after this video still keeping Comicbook

The Minimal Theme does support Turbografx 16-CD. The logo name is tg-cd. so change any configs to tg-cd.
Also, it's Little Bud :)
+Lilburn thanks for comment little bud and love your themes man and thanks for clearing that up
Retrorama is beautiful!!
I have a question,
I use art book with odoid, I don't know how to activate last played and favorite? can you tell me how do you have them with yours?
thanks
Pierre

Great video man. Very nice to be able to see them all laid out in a video. Saving us alot of time. When you run Retropie on your PC do you have the same issues with n64 games like you do on Raspberry Pi?
The issues have to do with the underpowered processing power of the RPi, if you overclock the Pi 3 the performance will be a lot smoother
I made a few new themes that I plan on up loading !
How did you separate Famicom from NES games? What folders did you have to create to separate them? I am very OCD and need to do this.
What does "Themed" mean in the last column of your Docs file?
+Richard Rico meaning collections get themed to match the chosen theme
say you where to use an n64 processor and gpu chip in your raspberry pi machine are there any additional components you'd need to install to your firmware for it to read and use these alternate parts or would it do it automatically?
+LordSykocutioner good question that is out of my knowledge unfortunately maybe someone else would know
Very few of these actually support Macintosh
what retropie version u running???????? you have a bunch of sega cd, psx games
That would be a custom version of motion blue v5 by David Marti
Nice bro. Question, which ones are made for older 4:3 ratio LCD screens? LIke a bartop build... Thanks
+Retro Junkie yeah I included all the 4x3 ones in there too
Great video, thanks! Quick question, how do you record the emulationstation screen like you did to put in this video?
Probably used a virtual machine to run retropie, and then recorded it from there
Comic is my favorite, where do I get his themes?
Where did you download those theme set?
es themes in seettings
where can i download these themes?
How did you change the background on the snes mini theme? I like your look, I don’t like the neon look that comes stock
+mallelofresh there is an ini file you can edit to change settings I will make a video if you need to show the process
GreekDragonX thank you for making this video great work
Hi man can you reupload again please link is down
ComicBook is still the best theme ever.
Im new to retropie, i managed to make a small build with snes and super famicom roms, how do you separate roms so you have 2 different systems???
+MrRockfish01 are you meaning how I have snes and Famicom? If so I did not create those sets a friend of mine created it for me
MrRockfish01 check this one, is this what you're after? www.arcadepunks.com/new-snes-v3-16gb-image-dmc-pi-based-mlp-release/
dmc4708 -Heck yeah thats it!!! Thanks for the link👍🏼
MrRockfish01 no worries. That build just has the consoles. There is a 32GB version that will be dropping soon which has the handhelds included. From game and watch all the way up to game boy advance.
Great video...gracias
can you reupload it please?
I'm curious, how did you get your emulator to say Arcade rather than MAME?
You put all of your mame/fbalpha ROMs in the arcade folder and it groups them all together. Depending on your romset you can also put your neogeo games in the same folder
Really good video. Whats the best way to get these for PC?
+Lewis Robinson there is a version of emulation station for windows out there and the themes are mostly all on github
why the g sheet not work?
This video is pretty old, there are different places to get themes now
Superior video. Thanks too much.
+Nomad Soul glad you liked it
link not working
so you are running these themes on emulation station for pc .
+havi v yes
Many Zubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slore that day I can tell you.
