- Hello and welcome to a very special episode as today, for the first first time we are at Nottingham Gaming Market!
Whenever you hunt at a gaming market you have to be patient, you never know what your going to find and shoot your shot too early and you may miss out on being able to afford an item you find later, or wait to long and you may miss an item you passed buying the first time, gaming markets are always a gamble and it’s all about patience and hopefully today it pays off!
The Nottingham Gaming Market is the latest gaming market from Replay Events - the award winning organisers of the Video Game Market and PLAY Expo shows around the UK - over 100 successful events ran in the last 10 years!
As well as game hunting it was amazing to meet so many amazing fans of the channel and fellow collectors as well as fellow TH-camrs such as @RetroGhetto and to spend the day with @ps2manygames

I intend to return to Nottingham to trade again as it is the 2nd best performing market I have been to after London (Oxford gets 3rd place now) So see you then and keep up the good work. And for goodness sakes do try and play those games instead of placing it on shelves and letting them gather dust! :)

Nottingham market was a really good day, pleased you picked up a couple of your most wanted items. Fully agree that the bigger space and staggered entry system meant it was a much better experience than some of the others I've been to.
Yeah it was a great experience after some very busy markets and very happy my patience paid off!

Great video bro! Embarrassingly I live in Nottingham but I always assumed the conventions would just be tiny affairs with everyone having basic titles and funko pops! It looked a good event I’ll make sure I’m at the next one

Great vid as always, Dan but just to let you know I've seen Tmnt TF on MD on Cex app in the last couple of months but they've gone in no time. There's a game I've been on the look out for months now, very rare by all accounts and only see it once in CEX, missed it but grabbed it this time and it arrived to my surprise, complete, in near mint condition as was the manual, which was EXO Squad, based on the toy line, on MD. Checked eBay and only one sold for nearly triple the price that I paid for it very recently.
Yeah I guess some of here games so just go so quick I never see them in stock, so very happy to have it!

@@DanTheGamesMan yeh I've think I've managed get some good and rarish games on MD in the last few months with Exo Squad, True Lies, The Phantom, X men 2 clone wars, Samurai Showdown and the punisher, and Gunstar heroes. I was going to go for Demolition man but since I have it on the Snes, I just didn't see the point. It came up on Cex was tempted, then decided:no.

Wonderful stuff Dan. Having seen Retro Ghettos and Gebs24 vids, I was looking forward to your vid as they both said this was up there with the best. £50 for Tournament Fighter is outrageous value. Cracking pick ups mate💪 🤙👌

Looks good, the Sega Sg1000 was the early try out before the 8 nbit Master System came out and used cartridge and card for memory storage iirc. I think the mk2 version was an updated version of the sg1000 mk1.

Genesis cartridges were often sent over when demand exceeded supply
My copy of sonic is an english box but usa cart and manual lol
Strange I wasn’t sure if this was a case of people just frankensteining games over time with missing carts
the Megadrive version of VR racing was a bigger cartridge because it needed an extra set of chips to render the 3d graphics of the game, it was also hella expensive when it was released because of that.
