@@averybryant I think I remember you saying you found the tractor abandoned? I have many people say that they found everything from mining, construction, farming, and agricultural equipment. I often wonder, besides a company going out of business, how does all this stuff become abandoned! I bought my tractor in South Georgia, at a auction. Mike
Sometimes we dont get the full story, a lot of times just because the equipment is thought to not be worth fixing anymore. In the case of this one it was used on a hunting property, life got in the way and the tractor had just sat unused for long enough for things like the battery to go dead and tires flat and the owner was ready to move on to other things. It is always interesting to hear the stories behind abandoned equipment for sure

I am also currently trying to get a 1910 cranked, after sitting for 20 years, I could use some information. The first thing is the key, can either one of you show me what the key looks like? I know I can buy an ignition, but I've learned they can be "generic". This one was missing the solenoid and I would like some references on the hookup. Thanks!
Good work Avery, I have a 69 Ford 4000 3cyl gas that I am slowly fixing up. I will do the wiring before fall. Next on my list is the parking brake. As I pull parts off, I am repainting them. Just like you, I have to do a bit at a time, I have lots of farm chores!
Hi Thanks for sharing your knowledge! We have a 1910 and the temp gage stays on cold until we kill the engine and then the gage needle shoots over to H!????? Any ideas why it does this? What should we do the make sure it works properly?

They make a rubber cement/insulating goop to brush on if you need to cover bare wires for insulating help.

It might in light/ thin grass that isnt too tall but the 5ft is all that it wants with the heavy brush cutting that i do typically

Don't use butt connectors use heat scrink and non insulated connectors
