Thank you for the video. Once you have replaced the seats you might get a 'airbag(s) or pretensioner seat belt(s) faulty' message, don't do what i did and unscrew the seats to check the wiring. Just pull one of the seatbelts to it's fullest extent, and sharply pull as if in an accident then switch on ignition and the message will have gone.
Replace with Leather preferably Heated Seats (3008 2011-2013), will underseat Connectors be the same? On Leather Seat versions the heated seat dial is on side, perhaps undersea is same connector & since Leather Seats incorporate the Switch, presuming it wud fit/work?
i have a 508 but the air bag light comes on intermittent, I have checked the connections under the seat and know its the drivers side but using a code reader, the error is resistance to high level drivers side airbag line front, any idea's?
How do you tear down the backrest of the front seats? I need to check the connector from the seat airbag. Also, the yellow plug in mine has only 1 green/yellow cable, and other wires are just cut off from he connectors with leaving 2cm of each wire. Is that normal??
I don't know about tearing down the back rest. Do the cables look like they've been left from factory or are there signs this isn't original. It may be worth checking someone hasn't disabled an airbag as you wouldn't find out until a crash.
Hi Ryan, I can’t find a torque figure but I think I’d be more inclined to use some thread lock and just tighten it as tight as you can with a 6” ish length ratchet.
Hello, I don’t have one to look at but from photos of parts on eBay it looks like the base is just clipped down and once the base is removed you can see the bolts to remove the upper part. I’m not 100% on that, only going by what I can see without the car.
What was that wire that you cut? If you want to put the seat back in after you've finished cleaning, have you just messed up something for ever by cutting that wire?
Doing it in the rain. Mad respect

That’s good advice if it works, I would’ve thought you’d have to plug in a code reader to reset the codes.
I know it's a stupid question but what is the name of that blue tool at 2:27
Thanks for making it easier than it first looked.. Props
Hvala brate🤝

great vid, is it exactly the same for the driver seat?
Yes, I just showed the passenger seat because it’s easier to show without the steering wheel in the way
Nicely done!

Do you have to disconnect the battery before you took out the seat?
In order to not get an airbag warning light you either need to disconnect the battery or leave the ignition off while anything is disconnected.

When putting them back in, what torque setting would you recommend? Is there a set standard for all peugeots?

How hard is it to remove the rear seats?
I’m not sure as I didn’t do it, hope you found the info you need!
My Citroen picasso xara has a different under seat connector to this one and is difficult to separate to remove the seat?
How do I do this?
Without seeing the car I can’t help, sorry. I hope you got sorted by now.
Hi, did you disconnect the battery for this i mean for the airbag or its not necesary?
I didn’t disconnect the battery but you definitely should. We did have the airbag light come on.
If anyone picks up this question...if I just want to remove the seat back and leave the seat base in situ...? Doable? Or hassle?
Is this the same princable on a citreon ds3
Probably very similar
Hello i have a peugeot 308II and i dont know how to remove the back bench, do you have any idea?

Did you remove seat belts before removing seats
No, they aren’t attached to the seats on these
Is is the same for 406?
It won’t be the same but all seats are basically the same, 4 bolts and some airbag/motor wiring.
Have you been removed 308 SW T9 rear bench?
Not yet no sorry
Will this be the same for a 107 👍👍
It won’t be identical but basically all car seats are held down with 4 bolts. Locate the bolts and you’re most of the way there.
Is it T55 torx?
I say in the video it’s T40 Torx
@@IAMASPANNER Very Clear yea

I disconnected the connector for the airbag. As long as the ignition is switched off it doesn’t mess anything up.
@@IAMASPANNER So that tool that you used after you'd undone the clip didn't cut the wire, just gripped it so you could pull it away more easily?
It's was just a cable tie holding the loom
@@IAMASPANNER is necessary to disconnect the battery before remove the seats?
@@andreseduardosolisgonzalez4667 on this car no, just make sure the ignition is turned off until you have everything plugged back in.
