Sharen is awesome. Ive ran her alot and her cloak is great for reviving your teammates when they get downed or breaking aggro so you can reposition . The people hating on her are just the people who only play bunny and dont know anything other character

She does suck.... in that other chars are way more powered for fast clearing(bunny) or bosses... She needs ammo to not be consumed on the first shot in stealth. This would make her viable with sniper rifles "always"
@@givemeanameman1 She was never meant to be an AOE style of Descendant. The ult being AOE is just to give her something for mobs. In bossing (especially solo she is ahead of a large amount of the roster).
More mats is the obvious use case... like enzo for vaults. That said, they can still be fun 2 play given the right builds and equipment. I have no opinion if it's totally broken but 1 shotting a collosi is pretty broken in a funny way.
That’s the thing about this game people just assume you can slap on any mod and just go balls blazing. You have to mod efficiently and accordingly around the characters abilities and the weapons they use stop trying to run and gun.
Yea there's no one build that fits all descendants equally, so having a in depth knowledge of each descendant is importing to brining out their true potential.
So true. Every time I get something new, I create a build then use suggested mods to see if there is something I am missing. It has actually helped me quite a bit.
Sharen with a shotgun. Then you get the mod that increases how many pellets come out per shot. This combo with her ambush is a million plus damage with a good weak shot and weak damage.
You might like your Thunder Cage better like I did after rerolling the stats up to current level. I learned that stats remain at previous level 1 even after getting pushed to 100
It's not that I don't like Thunder Cage, and I'm aware I could get better rolls an upgrade the passive, I just never have to switch to it in boss fights since I can solo most bosses with the 10 bullets I start with in my Sniper (in solo hard mode of course).
I love Sharen,she is very fun to play. Her adaptability is crazy. Her ability to res people and stay stealthed is nice, her as a run and gun with thunder cage, her as a sniper, her as ad clear..... thank you for this video
Lore wise, colossai don't find you by sight, but reliably show up in intercept locations because they hunt you by your psyche. Since it's a psyche ability, it would make sense for it to actually draw aggro.
You can literally not call an invisibility character bad in ANY GAME! This alone makes her sick, but as you presented there's a lot of good stuff to work with, i'm just leveling her up, you lowkey made me consider investing in her!
For the round improvement mods you throw them on a secondary weapon and change to it when you need ammo. That way you can gain the ammo bonus while still using all your mod slots for damage.
@@QuintessentialQue yep just have a secondary of the same type you wanna collect and change to it when you need ammo. Throw one conversation of each type on it and no matter what you grab you'll get the ammo you want back.
Pro tip: Afterglow for consistency, Piercing Light for highest numbers. PL does have to be fully built however to outperform Aferglow as it has fairly lower base crit but higher base firearm attack.

Speed up the stealh activation. Give her a speed boost while stealthed. Speed up her Flashsword Ability it just takes wayyyyyy too long. Thats all she needs.
Sharen is the most fun Descendant i have played. (Still leveling her) Challenge, more thinking than just spamming and so on. I sure have much more to learn, but i really love this descendant.
Her ult IS actually amazing for bossing, you can hit kingfishers and the boss, it also can be boosted by the stealth and do more than your number 1 ability. It can also target the balloons bosses get in immune phase for world elites. If you aim it properly you can make it only hit the balloons and not the immune.
Imagine they add a transcendent mod when they release her ultimate that changes her 4 into an exclusive weapon where you can just shoot the blades as a regular weapon

Yea unfortunately people begin to regurgitate the same beliefs as their preferred content creator sometimes. Which then turns others away from a character before exploring that character for themselves. I know not EVERYONE thinks Sharen is bad but is definitely a good majority that believes her only use is farming.
For real I’ve been working on a ability build for he lower cd cost and making crit damage a priority got her first ability down to 2 seconds spam worthy
they have to make her ultimate skill to lock onto colossus weak points and it would be perfectly viable for bossing. And I would use both focus on fusion and electric for cooldown reduction on her and if you're lucky, get 0.074 on reactor. puts ambush down to 8s without multitalented mod. I would also replace base HP mod for HP amp and replace spear and shield with basic blue def mod for more survivability and same cost.....would not recommend HP amp if you're using augment for stealth since it reduces shields a bit. Was actually working on something similar but don't really want to invest resources into her since she has no ultimate version yet so I'm just using it with duration and damage for solo outpost clears for now so I'll just stick to ultimate gley until valby in 2 weeks.
They could shorten both animations on activation of stealth as well as blade lock on, it's pretty clunky and I want 2 like sharen because stealth is awesome. 👍 Should be able to chain things together if they wanted to improve her for general trash clearing. Stealth reset on any kill would be broken good.
Oh wait till you get the afterglow sword. I have that at L3 and it just makes breaking weakpoints on bosses so easy. Bonus if u have an Enzo on your team to feed you ammo.
Equip another weapon that uses special ammo and equip it with all the ammo cap mods and conversion. Swap to this weapon when collecting all ammo. This will give you all the ammo you need for you main without Enzo. You're welcome :)

That could be a part of it. However I've seen multiple people say that Sharen does no boss damage as well and clearly that's not the case. I just try to address just misconceptions and fully understand a descendant first before I call something bad.
I just got to say, I was never wrong about any character. Every single character in the Game has at least 1 strong build. Who would ever say any character is bad or not viable? 😅 Thank you for showing people to stop underrating characters.

I told the first day - with Ambush she is going be crazy But EVERY SINGLE ""builder"" said she is useless F tier - build Gley and Tamer! I have a HUGE tip for you build since Im building this Sharen for last 4 days and learned a lot : 1)ALWAYS TAKE another sniper high power on 3th slot with HUGE weapon swap speed. On this UTILITY sniper you put Max bullets AND picking up special bullets gives you high power ones MOD. During fight if you see orange bullets - SWAP weapon and take them 2)ALWAYS PUT on Afterglow a mod picking up impact bullets gives you high power. With those 2 mods you will ALWAYS find bullets on the battlefield and continue to shoot like if you were Enzo.

Finally!!!! I was def going to make a 1 shot build with her after I get the mod that takes her shield to go invisible. I do think she need some small buffs suck as ambush last 2-3 sec after invisibility, and she should not have a cooldown on her passive since at most she can reduce cooldown 2x if that were the case. Ask it would be nice if you get faster cooldown if you don’t use all your blades with ult.
I just consider her clunky at the moment. Her main issue...is her Stealth Ability...it slow to activate, it has slow movement speed & doesn't wotk on bosses (like you point it out, on your video). I would give her 2nd ability a Speed Boots. That way people can used it to get close for her 1st ability or make space for her 4th ability. Her 3rd ability need range or a bigger AOE.
They should make a mod for her knife ability that works like celestial nighthawk in destiny, just condense all the swords into one massive damage sword for bosses
Yea but I wouldn't a mod slot dedicated to this especially compared to some of her others. I think just removing the cap in the first place is all around better and makes the ult more versatile from the gate.

@@QuintessentialQue Only as a convenience function, you can clear any infiltration with 2 or 3 camo cycles at default duration. I don't know if I'd overly spec into it just to make that one part of the game easier, but then again, if you just set up a settings tab with extra duration, you're often solo'ing these in a private zone nayway so who cares.
Good video mate and well done for trying to think out the box. This game is excellent in that it creates archetypes you need to build into unlike the generic nonsense in other games where class identity is all but missing, yet people come here and complain about exactly that though they complain about its lack elsewhere. Stop trying to pigeon hole these characters. Stop using the can it boss standard, its stupid as not all characters are meant to boss. Ever tried to solo the dungeons with the max difficulty setting up high in order to get 220% bonus, but that goddamned lightning gun sniper boss or the flaming shotgun boss ones shots yo ass? Well, introducing camo girl. Go invisi, do massive burst damage, shotgun boss to the face then dissappear again, and it may be that her cloak may totally nerf some boss mechanics, but I still need to test that. By the way, the hit and cloak tactic should be brilliant if you pair the highest single bullet sniper rifle with the gold mod that increases the damage of the first bullet by 200% paired with weak point increases together. Cloak should help you line up great headshots, even in bossing weak points. Im an ex warframe player, and its quite frustrating seeing people impose senseless presuppositions on this game then give it bad ratings due to their incompetence. P.s. Sharon can kill boss in 13 to 16 seconds. Dont sleep on overcharged edge plus sniper rifle weakspot.
Unfortunately a lot of descendants have pretty useless skills. Bunny has 2, Sheran maybe 2. You basically build on one ability with one weapon. Which makes this probably boring to play after an hour. Personally I thought skill refresh means the invisibility is extended, but no the skill is just ready to cast again. I hope the devs improve on stuff later. Definitely will try this build tho. (Your voice is cool BTW.)
Yea I briefly talk about the reload one in the gun section. TLDR: Weak Point Expansion will out damage Strengthen First Shot in the course of an entire fight the longer it goes on due to not having to rely on ammo to be in the mag to be reloaded or having to wait through part of the reload animation.
U should check your weapon info to see how much your 25% crit rate increase is increasing your snipers actual crit rate lol. I saw another streamer video showing it increases the gun's crit rate by the percentage of the exisiting crit rate so if its 5% a 25% increase makes it 6.25% so not really that great
Yea I'm aware. That's because Crit is multiplicative and not additive, would be a bit busted if it was especially if there's secretly double crits pass 100% like in some games. However crit rate is still important in weapons with good base crit like Snipers that seem to start around 50%. Crit is terrible on shotguns though so if this was a shotty build I would be ignoring crit.
Battlesuit Melting Rounds actually does decrease enemies defense by 40% along with electric defense 40% if you hover it to your melting rounds skill. You can also extend it's duration by 0.1% (i dunno the computation) for each skil duration mods you use so its good as a debuffer build for colossi.
I'm working on build more focused around her one because I know not everyone is into gun heavy gameplay and would prefer to do big damage from abilities if possible. However she could've been tweaked to better match how she is advertised.

I have 80 at MR 14. And some QOL changes I would like to see for Sharen: 1. Speed boost when invis. She is an assassin supposed to manipulate positioning to her advantage but is dog slow. I think her dodge should turn into a warp when invis too. 2. Better tracking for her 4. Daggers don't hit a lot of the times if the enemies are just walking. Really annoying. Should also be able to target all daggers on 1 enemy. 3. Rework her 3 entirely. Who tf is stunning in this game? If you are not killing fast you are not killing anything. 4. Why oh why can Colossi target us when invis? This is such a stupid mechanic. Her 1, 3, and 4 are essentially useles in Intercept Battles. Like wtf. Yeah you can mod her 3 with BS MR. But still her 3 needs to be reworked. 5. And this is just a personal want. But I wan't better skins and more without her helmet. Ppl don't know Sharen is fine. I hope they show Sharen some love soon. She has a high skill ceiling and you have to work for her damage. Unlike some Descendants I know.
YEah weird he has 15 on kick.. which doesn't go above 10 ? Maybe he wrongly put other catalyst symbol where Kick's M symbol should be since having wrong symbols doubles the capacity here it may benefit ~ See things like this is why i don't like guide videos ~ THEY SKIP THE MAIN PART.. I'm sharen main i keep experimenting everything he shows here and more.. but 15 on KICK is the only thing my thought went to & he barely thinks people don't see the Elephant in the module room
I think the damage buff coming out of invis shouldn’t be on the first strike it should be on a short timer like 2-3 seconds. This would allow for more creativity.
Yes and no. It will lead to more weapons that would be viable for her but it would still reduce her build to whatever weapons hits/melts faster. It seems that that the Devs want the skill mods to influence build diversity, which would be fine if half of them weren't mediocre lol.

I’m thinking about running afterglow and smithereens. Afterglow with the first shot dmg and smithereens with the general rounds conversion so i always have high powered rounds and can do long range sniping or close range assassinations.
Rookie question. How’s you get your sub attack to 15. I know catalysts cut points for the other slots of the mod matches. But is it in reverse for subs ?
It's not a rookie question, a lot of people don't know this. I didn't even know it till I risked a catalyst for the sake of testing lol, Anyway if you use a catalyst on the Sub Module spot you get +5 capacity for a max rank sub mod. All sub mods are the "M" looking socket type so you can safely put a catalyst there especially if you don't know how you want your final build to be on a character.
The Thunder Cage is just there for decoration like I said in the video. Most Colossus fights end with the 10 bullets I start with in my Sniper so I never need to switch lol.
How are u getting the kicking to give u 15 capacity bonus? Did u put a malachite slot on the submod slot which will give 50% more capacity? If so this is overlooked by a lot of other players!
@@Ichigo-141 If Battlesuit Melting Rounds was working properly I would say that mod till you get Overcharged Edge, since you can get Battlesuit well before Overcharged (unless you get lucky with combining). However since Battlesuit is not working properly it’s kinda Overcharged or nothing when it comes to bossing. When you’re AOE farming you would use Void Domination. Releasing Cutting Force also works for AOE Farming but kills less mobs per cast than your Ult+Void Domination.
Best is very subjective, however aside from me missing the Skill Mod. I think this will be her best setup for bossing if you're focusing on a weapon build with her.

I hate combining mods.I can combined 4 chill mods, and it gave me a chill mod, it might have been for a different type of ammo, i can't remember, but damn!
Hey I would say give it another try. Sharen is just a demanding character in build design so she feels lackluster early on but spike harder than most characters as you get better gear.

This video was recorded prepatch. A lot of people says it works now while others still say it doesn't. Somehow Battlesuit is the only Sharen mod I'm missing so I can't fully test for myself unfortunately. Even if it is working, damage wise I think it'll still lose to Overcharge Edge because that Skill mod raises your Ambush damage from 100% to 150%. This is then increased based on how much shield was drained up to 50% increased damage for 50% shield, making Ambush damage cap out at 200% increased damage from this mod.
@@QuintessentialQue I have tested it out it I do see an increase in damage from it. I just don't know the math to be able to say what it is versus what it should be. I tried it with the beam sword and the even the tics are amazing. Tested it with a Bunny on the team and they obliterated yellow bars in hard mode with a 1-2 passthroughs

@@Phillyswirl123 If you catalyst a sub mod spot you get an additional 5 capacity at max rank. All sub modules have the same polarity, so it’s incredibly safe to catalyst that spot if you’re unsure on how you want your final build.
Everyone in the comments saying they main Sharen, but the only time I ever see anyone playing her is to hack terminals for amorphous. You guys running around everywhere stealthed up? All I ever see are thirsty dudes on their Ultimate Bunnies and Gleys everywhere, and now the occasional Lepic 'cuz someone figured out how to nuke bosses (nerf incoming, btw). Or is it because people are slowly starting to realize Sharen is actually good and now everyone (claims to) mains her all of a sudden? Kinda like when a sports team wins the the post-season, and suddenly everyone's a fan.
Ability 1 and 4 does Fusion? It's not electric dmg? If it's the case, my god I was using the module electric skill boost I small question, because I'm currently using the module that boost after reload, the atk+100%(base) instead of weak point +35%(base). With Ambush seem better burst dmg than weak point module? *Edit you answered the question :P Another question since I cannot find the answer, I'm also trying to get Battlesuit, but If you have 0/less than 100 shield do it provide ambush with 0 instead of the 100%. Seem risky module to use.
You really never realized that fusion, dimension etc aren't from the same category as elemental type damage ? Skills all have 2 types of damage. 1 elemental, and 1 of the fusion, tech etc etc.
They deal both Electric and Fusion. When I land the skill you see both the Electric and Fusion Icons show near the damage numbers indicating what type of damage is applied. Also the mod that strips your shield for Ambush damage is not Battlesuit it's Overcharge Edge, I haven't tested for myself but I would assume you can't even cast Camo without having some shield as the cost for camo becomes shield instead of MP. So it's definitely a risk vs reward mod.

Out of the blue question about Albion machine gun his ability trigger on stun, then keep the stun with critical hit. Beside Sharen able to stun an enemis. Any other way to stun a mobs? If I'm not mistaken that gun is awful if it's only fonctional with Sharen ability?
No because Skill Crit Rate is multiplicative not additive. So a mod giving you +100% Crit Rate doesn't mean you have 100% crit. For example Sharen abilities start out at a base of 20% Crit Rate. Adding a mod that gives 100% Crit Rate would just give you another 20% Crit since 100% of 20 is 20. Likewise if a mod gave you 50% Crit Rate and your base was 20% it would give you 10% crit since 10 is 50% of 20. Hope that made sense.
To me sharen need some upgrade, first quicker to activate, and perma cloaking, deactivate when you attack, her ult is a pain in the ass, take ages to be ready, also, she should be more if melee, this game really melee weapons mechanics, because juste shooting is annoying
@@michaelklein3244 She is hands down the hardest hitting character with Snipers. Ironically I’m working on an updated video which will be out soon as this build is a bit outdated. She is in the top 3 Boss DPS characters in my opinion only beaten by Gley/Ult Gley and Ult Lepic. However their builds do not utilize Snipers.
The character is broken people. Meaning she needs to be fixed. Give it a few weeks after devs watch videos like these to nerf her. There is a huge difference between a character being god tier effective and calling it broken. Calling anything broken in the gaming industry is the best way to ask the dev for changes.
The Devs have already stated that they are not in the mood to nerf everything immediately and would rather see people make strong builds on all characters. Furthermore me clearing Devourer in 49 seconds is hardly nerf worthy when Gley instakills it and Ultimate Lepic can clear in 5 seconds. While some Devs are trigger happy with nerfs. The Devs of this game seem to be taking in the player's enjoyment of strong builds into consideration before nerfing something to the ground.
@@robertobassatt3141 She’s supposed to be an assassin so a Sniper is fitting. Out of 4 abilities only 1 is a close range melee ability, so I wouldn’t call that the focus of her character design. Also unless they make her abilities get a Weakpoint modifier, guns will naturally outscale her abilities so the gravitation to Snipers is just fitting overall.

Agree, reduce the animation so you can quick vanish and ambush like a rogue in WoW.
I think any kill should reset the CD baseline.
Even tho the animation doesn't seem it the second you hit her stealth, you vanish to enemies. The animation is just flavor, I assume

Lore wise, colossai don't find you by sight, but reliably show up in intercept locations because they hunt you by your psyche. Since it's a psyche ability, it would make sense for it to actually draw aggro.

For the round improvement mods you throw them on a secondary weapon and change to it when you need ammo. That way you can gain the ammo bonus while still using all your mod slots for damage.

Pro tip: Afterglow for consistency, Piercing Light for highest numbers. PL does have to be fully built however to outperform Aferglow as it has fairly lower base crit but higher base firearm attack.

Her ult IS actually amazing for bossing, you can hit kingfishers and the boss, it also can be boosted by the stealth and do more than your number 1 ability. It can also target the balloons bosses get in immune phase for world elites. If you aim it properly you can make it only hit the balloons and not the immune.
Easily one of my favorite characters in the game so far.

Yea unfortunately people begin to regurgitate the same beliefs as their preferred content creator sometimes. Which then turns others away from a character before exploring that character for themselves. I know not EVERYONE thinks Sharen is bad but is definitely a good majority that believes her only use is farming.
For real I’ve been working on a ability build for he lower cd cost and making crit damage a priority got her first ability down to 2 seconds spam worthy
they have to make her ultimate skill to lock onto colossus weak points and it would be perfectly viable for bossing.
And I would use both focus on fusion and electric for cooldown reduction on her and if you're lucky, get 0.074 on reactor. puts ambush down to 8s without multitalented mod. I would also replace base HP mod for HP amp and replace spear and shield with basic blue def mod for more survivability and same cost.....would not recommend HP amp if you're using augment for stealth since it reduces shields a bit.
Was actually working on something similar but don't really want to invest resources into her since she has no ultimate version yet so I'm just using it with duration and damage for solo outpost clears for now so I'll just stick to ultimate gley until valby in 2 weeks.
They could shorten both animations on activation of stealth as well as blade lock on, it's pretty clunky and I want 2 like sharen because stealth is awesome. 👍

Oh wait till you get the afterglow sword. I have that at L3 and it just makes breaking weakpoints on bosses so easy. Bonus if u have an Enzo on your team to feed you ammo.
Equip another weapon that uses special ammo and equip it with all the ammo cap mods and conversion. Swap to this weapon when collecting all ammo. This will give you all the ammo you need for you main without Enzo. You're welcome :)
I'm a few pieces away from it now but I already expect a big DPS increase with that and a few other mods and components.

As a Sharen main, I think most people prefer the easy AOE characters like Bunny, easy to use .
That could be a part of it. However I've seen multiple people say that Sharen does no boss damage as well and clearly that's not the case. I just try to address just misconceptions and fully understand a descendant first before I call something bad.

I have a HUGE tip for you build since Im building this Sharen for last 4 days and learned a lot :
1)ALWAYS TAKE another sniper high power on 3th slot with HUGE weapon swap speed. On this UTILITY sniper you put Max bullets AND picking up special bullets gives you high power ones MOD. During fight if you see orange bullets - SWAP weapon and take them
2)ALWAYS PUT on Afterglow a mod picking up impact bullets gives you high power.
With those 2 mods you will ALWAYS find bullets on the battlefield and continue to shoot like if you were Enzo.
She’s my favorite I am with bunny but using her only to get other descendents abilities because I can’t wait to get this girl a least at mid level because she is fun to play as

Finally!!!! I was def going to make a 1 shot build with her after I get the mod that takes her shield to go invisible. I do think she need some small buffs suck as ambush last 2-3 sec after invisibility, and she should not have a cooldown on her passive since at most she can reduce cooldown 2x if that were the case. Ask it would be nice if you get faster cooldown if you don’t use all your blades with ult.
Apprently that mod is working if you go into the stats area it does show the dmg reduction for the bosses

I just consider her clunky at the moment.
Her main issue...is her Stealth Ability...it slow to activate, it has slow movement speed & doesn't wotk on bosses (like you point it out, on your video).
I would give her 2nd ability a Speed Boots. That way people can used it to get close for her 1st ability or make space for her 4th ability.
Her 3rd ability need range or a bigger AOE.
She's super important to go invisible for extra void rewards.
Yea this build is for bossing really. You would need to tweak a few mods if you're farming infiltrations.
They should make a mod for her knife ability that works like celestial nighthawk in destiny, just condense all the swords into one massive damage sword for bosses
Yea but I wouldn't a mod slot dedicated to this especially compared to some of her others. I think just removing the cap in the first place is all around better and makes the ult more versatile from the gate.

The camo is for the reactor camps infiltration. So I guess skill extenders and buffs would be good.
Yea this was more of a bossing build. For infiltration maxing duration would be more optimal.
@@QuintessentialQue Only as a convenience function, you can clear any infiltration with 2 or 3 camo cycles at default duration. I don't know if I'd overly spec into it just to make that one part of the game easier, but then again, if you just set up a settings tab with extra duration, you're often solo'ing these in a private zone nayway so who cares.

Well, introducing camo girl. Go invisi, do massive burst damage, shotgun boss to the face then dissappear again, and it may be that her cloak may totally nerf some boss mechanics, but I still need to test that.
By the way, the hit and cloak tactic should be brilliant if you pair the highest single bullet sniper rifle with the gold mod that increases the damage of the first bullet by 200% paired with weak point increases together. Cloak should help you line up great headshots, even in bossing weak points.
Im an ex warframe player, and its quite frustrating seeing people impose senseless presuppositions on this game then give it bad ratings due to their incompetence.
P.s. Sharon can kill boss in 13 to 16 seconds. Dont sleep on overcharged edge plus sniper rifle weakspot.

Unfortunately a lot of descendants have pretty useless skills. Bunny has 2, Sheran maybe 2. You basically build on one ability with one weapon. Which makes this probably boring to play after an hour. Personally I thought skill refresh means the invisibility is extended, but no the skill is just ready to cast again. I hope the devs improve on stuff later. Definitely will try this build tho. (Your voice is cool BTW.)
There are a couple yellow cards thar can buff next shot damage after reload or even damage increased vs stunned ebemies
Yea I briefly talk about the reload one in the gun section.
TLDR: Weak Point Expansion will out damage Strengthen First Shot in the course of an entire fight the longer it goes on due to not having to rely on ammo to be in the mag to be reloaded or having to wait through part of the reload animation.
U should check your weapon info to see how much your 25% crit rate increase is increasing your snipers actual crit rate lol. I saw another streamer video showing it increases the gun's crit rate by the percentage of the exisiting crit rate so if its 5% a 25% increase makes it 6.25% so not really that great
Yea I'm aware. That's because Crit is multiplicative and not additive, would be a bit busted if it was especially if there's secretly double crits pass 100% like in some games. However crit rate is still important in weapons with good base crit like Snipers that seem to start around 50%. Crit is terrible on shotguns though so if this was a shotty build I would be ignoring crit.

Battlesuit Melting Rounds actually does decrease enemies defense by 40% along with electric defense 40% if you hover it to your melting rounds skill.
You can also extend it's duration by 0.1% (i dunno the computation) for each skil duration mods you use so its good as a debuffer build for colossi.
There's something about using a melee assasin from a far with a sniper just seems stupid, ig that's just me
I'm working on build more focused around her one because I know not everyone is into gun heavy gameplay and would prefer to do big damage from abilities if possible. However she could've been tweaked to better match how she is advertised.
Yeah just make her invisible mitt work on colossi and make all 9 of her blades be able to hit one target. And she would be a lot better

Sharen is my main. Played her in beta and knew she was going to be the one. Will definitely play around with your build man, good video my guy. Quick question. How do you have max 85 mod capacity? I have 80 at MR 14. And some QOL changes I would like to see for Sharen:
1. Speed boost when invis. She is an assassin supposed to manipulate positioning to her advantage but is dog slow. I think her dodge should turn into a warp when invis too.
2. Better tracking for her 4. Daggers don't hit a lot of the times if the enemies are just walking. Really annoying. Should also be able to target all daggers on 1 enemy.
3. Rework her 3 entirely. Who tf is stunning in this game? If you are not killing fast you are not killing anything.
4. Why oh why can Colossi target us when invis? This is such a stupid mechanic. Her 1, 3, and 4 are essentially useles in Intercept Battles. Like wtf. Yeah you can mod her 3 with BS MR. But still her 3 needs to be reworked.
5. And this is just a personal want. But I wan't better skins and more without her helmet. Ppl don't know Sharen is fine.
I hope they show Sharen some love soon. She has a high skill ceiling and you have to work for her damage. Unlike some Descendants I know.

Maybe he wrongly put other catalyst symbol where Kick's M symbol should be since having wrong symbols doubles the capacity here it may benefit ~ See things like this is why i don't like guide videos ~ THEY SKIP THE MAIN PART.. I'm sharen main i keep experimenting everything he shows here and more.. but 15 on KICK is the only thing my thought went to & he barely thinks people don't see the Elephant in the module room
I think the damage buff coming out of invis shouldn’t be on the first strike it should be on a short timer like 2-3 seconds. This would allow for more creativity.
Yes and no. It will lead to more weapons that would be viable for her but it would still reduce her build to whatever weapons hits/melts faster. It seems that that the Devs want the skill mods to influence build diversity, which would be fine if half of them weren't mediocre lol.
it doesent, as long as your no the target you should have the 15% dmg. The 45 sec cold down is for reset of stealth.

I’m thinking about running afterglow and smithereens. Afterglow with the first shot dmg and smithereens with the general rounds conversion so i always have high powered rounds and can do long range sniping or close range assassinations.

Rookie question. How’s you get your sub attack to 15. I know catalysts cut points for the other slots of the mod matches. But is it in reverse for subs ?
It's not a rookie question, a lot of people don't know this. I didn't even know it till I risked a catalyst for the sake of testing lol, Anyway if you use a catalyst on the Sub Module spot you get +5 capacity for a max rank sub mod.
All sub mods are the "M" looking socket type so you can safely put a catalyst there especially if you don't know how you want your final build to be on a character.
I would like you to test if the 4 is used point blank on a boss can you get the swords to hit even if they don't target!

My only issue is that her ultimate and stealth takes forever to activate, they should speed the activation of those two up
I think animations could be sped up across the board honestly. A lot of them are very clunky.

The Thunder Cage is just there for decoration like I said in the video. Most Colossus fights end with the 10 bullets I start with in my Sniper so I never need to switch lol.

How are u getting the kicking to give u 15 capacity bonus? Did u put a malachite slot on the submod slot which will give 50% more capacity? If so this is overlooked by a lot of other players!
Yea putting a Catalyst in the Sub Mod spot gives you 5 more capacity. I did this so I could keep spots open with no polarity for build diversity.
A catalyst on another type of mod gives 8 spaces though so sub attack upgrade last.

@@reganheath just double tap the ability. Technically it’s an ability cancel because you won’t be in stealth but you’ll still have the ambush buff.

@@Ichigo-141 If Battlesuit Melting Rounds was working properly I would say that mod till you get Overcharged Edge, since you can get Battlesuit well before Overcharged (unless you get lucky with combining).
However since Battlesuit is not working properly it’s kinda Overcharged or nothing when it comes to bossing. When you’re AOE farming you would use Void Domination. Releasing Cutting Force also works for AOE Farming but kills less mobs per cast than your Ult+Void Domination.

Best is very subjective, however aside from me missing the Skill Mod. I think this will be her best setup for bossing if you're focusing on a weapon build with her.

I hate combining mods.I can combined 4 chill mods, and it gave me a chill mod, it might have been for a different type of ammo, i can't remember, but damn!

Hey I would say give it another try. Sharen is just a demanding character in build design so she feels lackluster early on but spike harder than most characters as you get better gear.

This video was recorded prepatch. A lot of people says it works now while others still say it doesn't. Somehow Battlesuit is the only Sharen mod I'm missing so I can't fully test for myself unfortunately.
Even if it is working, damage wise I think it'll still lose to Overcharge Edge because that Skill mod raises your Ambush damage from 100% to 150%. This is then increased based on how much shield was drained up to 50% increased damage for 50% shield, making Ambush damage cap out at 200% increased damage from this mod.
@@QuintessentialQue I have tested it out it I do see an increase in damage from it. I just don't know the math to be able to say what it is versus what it should be. I tried it with the beam sword and the even the tics are amazing. Tested it with a Bunny on the team and they obliterated yellow bars in hard mode with a 1-2 passthroughs

@@Phillyswirl123 If you catalyst a sub mod spot you get an additional 5 capacity at max rank. All sub modules have the same polarity, so it’s incredibly safe to catalyst that spot if you’re unsure on how you want your final build.

Everyone in the comments saying they main Sharen, but the only time I ever see anyone playing her is to hack terminals for amorphous. You guys running around everywhere stealthed up? All I ever see are thirsty dudes on their Ultimate Bunnies and Gleys everywhere, and now the occasional Lepic 'cuz someone figured out how to nuke bosses (nerf incoming, btw). Or is it because people are slowly starting to realize Sharen is actually good and now everyone (claims to) mains her all of a sudden? Another question since I cannot find the answer, I'm also trying to get Battlesuit, but If you have 0/less than 100 shield do it provide ambush with 0 instead of the 100%. Seem risky module to use.
They do electric still, that's the element. The fusion is the type of attack it is. There's tech, dimension, fusion, and singular types of attacks.
You really never realized that fusion, dimension etc aren't from the same category as elemental type damage ?
Skills all have 2 types of damage. 1 elemental, and 1 of the fusion, tech etc etc.
@@massyl25 heheh no, I unfortunately didn't pay attention to the text/icon. I just assumed it was electric because of the effect, animation.
They deal both Electric and Fusion. When I land the skill you see both the Electric and Fusion Icons show near the damage numbers indicating what type of damage is applied. Also the mod that strips your shield for Ambush damage is not Battlesuit it's Overcharge Edge, I haven't tested for myself but I would assume you can't even cast Camo without having some shield as the cost for camo becomes shield instead of MP. So it's definitely a risk vs reward mod.

Out of the blue question about Albion machine gun his ability trigger on stun, then keep the stun with critical hit. Beside Sharen able to stun an enemis. Any other way to stun a mobs? If I'm not mistaken that gun is awful if it's only fonctional with Sharen ability?

Is it not overkill to have your skill crit hit rate over 100%?
No because Skill Crit Rate is multiplicative not additive. So a mod giving you +100% Crit Rate doesn't mean you have 100% crit.
For example Sharen abilities start out at a base of 20% Crit Rate. Adding a mod that gives 100% Crit Rate would just give you another 20% Crit since 100% of 20 is 20. Likewise if a mod gave you 50% Crit Rate and your base was 20% it would give you 10% crit since 10 is 50% of 20. Hope that made sense.

To me sharen need some upgrade, first quicker to activate, and perma cloaking, deactivate when you attack, her ult is a pain in the ass, take ages to be ready, also, she should be more if melee, this game really melee weapons mechanics, because juste shooting is annoying

@@michaelklein3244 She is hands down the hardest hitting character with Snipers. Ironically I’m working on an updated video which will be out soon as this build is a bit outdated. She is in the top 3 Boss DPS characters in my opinion only beaten by Gley/Ult Gley and Ult Lepic. However their builds do not utilize Snipers.
The character is broken people. Meaning she needs to be fixed. Give it a few weeks after devs watch videos like these to nerf her. There is a huge difference between a character being god tier effective and calling it broken. Calling anything broken in the gaming industry is the best way to ask the dev for changes.
The Devs have already stated that they are not in the mood to nerf everything immediately and would rather see people make strong builds on all characters.
Furthermore me clearing Devourer in 49 seconds is hardly nerf worthy when Gley instakills it and Ultimate Lepic can clear in 5 seconds. While some Devs are trigger happy with nerfs. The Devs of this game seem to be taking in the player's enjoyment of strong builds into consideration before nerfing something to the ground.

I get an urge to play outriders when I play her. Cause it's so much better.
I mean you're supposed to be a melee ninja and everyone just turned her into a sniper 😂
@@robertobassatt3141 She’s supposed to be an assassin so a Sniper is fitting. Out of 4 abilities only 1 is a close range melee ability, so I wouldn’t call that the focus of her character design.
Also unless they make her abilities get a Weakpoint modifier, guns will naturally outscale her abilities so the gravitation to Snipers is just fitting overall.
