  • Tunnels of Moose Jaw is a year-round tourist attraction in Southern Saskatchewan that entertains guests with its unique reproductions of Canadian history. Tunnels is a "living museum" with a fun but factual focus on Chicago gangster Al Capone's bootlegging connection to the region, as well as several other fascinating historical tours and exhibits.

The tunnels are well worth seeing. The lad in the video, although he tries, is still a bit young for a seasoned criminal. We had a late 30s Gus, so better. Moose Jaw turned out to be an ace little city. There are also 49 murals, a BRILLIANT Western Development Museum, a hot spring spa, and beautiful old marble library, and lovely parks where you can feed the birds. And the Past Times shop next to the Tunnels entrance had lots of ace gift items.

The chances that Capone was ever in this town are very slim. It was way too far from Chicago for him to feel safe. When he was on the lam he went to Minnesota...not Moose Jaw

If you went to see the tunnels you would see that Moose Jaw was more of an emergency hideout for him, although he would come every few years to make sure work was being done I assume

Idk lol the evidence sways both ways now this might sound a bit bias but my late brothe use to work at the old Royal Hotel on the infamous River St. and he was told about tunnels by the old Royal Hotel owner that knew our dad way back but he told my brother stories that his Grandpa's hotel was Al Capone's main place of business and yes the tunnels ran along River St. down to Manitoba St. right to the CP Rail yard hence the Sue line but yes also the under ground for the Chinese slave workers

is it cool to just like, tour the tunnels without the embarrassing performance? How about some actual education and history lessons? Also this seems like a giant scam....
