    That was a great video.My first train was a American Flyer 283 I got for Christmas 1955 So you can see the fondest for American Flyer I have. I still have it and running it at Christmas

      Robert A or Bob's layout and craftsmanship were featured in several issues of the S Gaugian magazine around 1982 so; look for his story if you have access to these old issues. He had a subdivision on his layout called the Chili Line A friend of mine acquired these trains and when I saw them I instantly recognized them. If I had the space I would like to have been able to display everything he did. The buildings were really great.

      Thanks. I trimmed the layout with the American Flyer traditional box colors. The layout is just 4 x 8.

    Yeah, I like link couplers a lot. I like Gilbert trains as the factory made them. But the extra bodies found can be repainted custom cars that are really gorgeous.
