Since we're moving into the era of Ecological Overshoot Unraveling I'd say the villain(s) need to be local warlords with never-ending alliance breakups. For example what if the factions in FC6 were actually capable (on a randomized schedule?) of mortal fighting amongst themselves? I trust the Ubisoft Montreal team (international really) is very capable of developing believable (and sympathetic?) villains for whatever projects are put in front of them. Bravo for this Far Cry body of work! What a legacy for now and the future.
if Far Cry 7's DLC brought back all protagonists of 3, 4, 5, and 6 as choosable characters, it will be the most genius thing they ever did.

The Timer should be optional, the thing I loved of Far Cry games is the amount of freedom their maps gave as well as the gameplay a timer will ruin this aspect big time.
Yeah the game sounded great but as soon as he said timer my smile went away
I love Majora's Mask but that game just barely made the time restraints work. Everything just came together. I do not trust Ubisoft to implement a time sensitive main story quest well at all.
If the timer isn't optional, I will make it "optional" by OPTING to not buy it...

That timer is not good it’s basically saying “don’t explore the world and side quests first save your family and if you don’t, you have to restart the whole thing”
I hope they will be back in the high mountains , only FC4 did it and was amazing , we are tired of FC sea maps

I can agree the tropical setting is kinda old (although I still love the setting). But I do really want to mountains back. They were partly what made Hope County and Kyrat beautiful to look at.

I love FC games... But my main complaint with FC games is the Enemy AI. The AI feels awkward at times and stupid. And sometimes the enemies feel like bullet-Sponges.
Everything else gets a pass. Just want to see some more realistic and challenging AI👍
You tried fc2? The ai in that is challenging.

Personally didn't like 5. Didn't find the antagonists very compelling. Player progression was limited and new game plus doesn't feel very far cry. 3 and 4 were great

It would be disappointing if there was a timer because lots of people play far cry for the open world aspect and not only for the story.

I think a good addition to a farcry game would be to make the ending determinant on how many military targets you take down. For example, your chances of getting the "good" ending increase with every outpost you take down or something like that, and you only find out about this at the end of the game.

my guess is that in its season pass the game would have a far cry 4 (far cry 4 classic for consoles) just like 6 had Blood dragon/Blood dragon classic and 5 had 3/3 classic
Iv 100%fcy5 and beat it on the hardest difficulty I don't wanna brag but im a huge fan and this makes me wanna cry😢. the funniest part Is I beat fcy6 at level 13 not possible to me but I love the fcy series it just makes me soo happy I love them if u live the fcys pls like.
Ubisoft needs to start treating Far Cry seriously again and give it a gritty reboot (similar to what Modern Warfare did in 2019.) Far Cry has strayed too far from it's roots over the years and has become way too "cartoony" and light-hearted in tone. Just imagine another game set in Africa with a brutally hostile world and light survival mechanics. Far Cry 2 with modern polish and without the outdated jank would be such an amazingly immersive game.

If Farcry 7 presents a sequel to Farcry 3 while still featuring Vass Montenegro then that would really be fantastic... you know how long I've missed the Vass madness, bro! And if the locations is still in the forest and some villages and even old towns are added, I'm sure I will enjoy it👌

Imagine if they went back to Hope County for Far Cry 7 and it was revealed that Joseph Seed had a child who wants revenge for the death of their father. A child with similar extreme ideology who built their own army and following that rolls into Hope County who has both political and military ties. You play the same character from Far Cry 5. One of the paths will lead you to being discredited and hunted by your own law enforcement agancies.

I think we will get the trailer at the end of 2024 and launch in early or mid 2025 but that is least likely so mostly it we get trailer in early 2025 and launch in mid or late 2025 but mostly not 2026 provided that the time between each release is 2 years or 3

To be honest, I’m kind of hoping that it would be somewhere in south-east Asian country, like Myanmar and instead of some crazy cult, maybe a criminal syndicate, or a corrupt dictator government similar to far cry, 6
I tried every Far Cry and haven't gotten more than 10% done on any of them because they never hold my interest but theres something there so i am going to keep playing them everytime they release.
