I'm almost positive they cancelled the show because they noticed that the voice actor for Chowder was going through puberty and knew that his voice will be changing soon. They didn't want the voice actor's voice to change because it would make it seem like he was replaced even he wasn't so they had to wrap up the show before it was too late.
AGREED!!!!! 3 years and 3 seasons!?!? that means their was 1 season per year. Amazing world of gumball is weird to and its on its SIXTH season!!!!!

Chowder didn't get near enough love. It was my go to show (along with Flapjack) during my middle school years.
It was because people didn't watch cartoon network when chowder came out because of bad life action shows. But since chowder is on hulu and things like that people are now knowing what chowder is. Now there are fan plushies, official music vids buy famouse singers, mascot costume books, and a lot more

This is my favorite cartoon of all time, it's my favorite type of random comedy and the various animation styles are very interesting to look at.
Why are the higher ups of a network that's entirely based around airing cartoons for kids worried about a show's audience being too young?
Well if it makes you feel better. they throw that out the window and made Teen Titans Go. It's the most childish show I've ever seen.
Probably my favorite joke that I always remember from Chowder is a purely visual gag where Mung Dahl is giving a pep talk, and when one of the guys tries to correct him, another one puts his hand on his shoulder and shakes his head.
That always gets me.
Chowder and Flapjack were two of my favorite CN shows as a kid.

Chowder SHOULD’VE been one of those shows that lasted longer than 3 years. I’m so mad at CN at the time for wanting to push live action shows other than actual good cartoons. This show was clever, funny, eye catching and just so much fun to watch. I’ll forever love chowder.

My highschool years! Chowder aired when I was a freshman and ended after I graduated in '10. I thought the humor was a little hit or miss but the style/aesthetic/creative parts of the show were always off the hook. You had some pretty good selection for your childhood cartoons, man!

Ah man, it's been so long since I've seen a Chowder episode. No cable and whatnot, I remember not getting to see it unless I was at my grandparents' house when it was airing. I also remember knowing someone (can't quite remember who exactly, probably a random friend) telling me my name would be "Meatloaf" if I were a character. I'll take it.
This show was my entire life when I was younger (I'm 14 now) and I remember crying when it ended. :(
Strangely, I've never watched this show. After watching this, I have to now. It seems right up my alley.

I loved Chowder! One of the best shows since CN's heyday with the Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and Dexter's Lab (oh, such good shows). FYI - while I remember Dwight Schultz in the original A-Team, I only remembered him on the show after I saw him as Lt. Reginald Barclay in Star Trek: TNG, which is your second ST connection.
This is one of my favorite cartoons that I grew up with.This show was truly one of a kind;A show about a kid wanting to be a chef and getting to be the apprentice of a chef and getting to live with his master at his master's own restaurant.

On my list of my sixteen favorite animated television series, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Chowder and The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack are tied for the top three. Right now I am conflicted on which one I like the very best, but for now, I will tell why I like Chowder.
First of all, I think Chowder is the reason for why Cartoon Network is now accepting more child actors to voice child characters. True, the Adventure Time Project's Jeremy Shada was the final shove, but since Chowder's Nicky Jones came first, I say Chowder started it all. I love animation projects that have their child stars voiced by real children because that feels more natural than if an adult pretends to be a child. Secondly, I love the animation. Even though I love 2D Drawing animation more than anything else, I will admit Chowder joins Flapjack in having my favorite stop motion work from Screen Novelties. I can be impressed by two animation types blending together, I just like drawing animation more. One more thing I like about Chowder is the humor. Although I am troubled by the level of toilet humor in this project, the rest of the humor is perfectly hilarious. There are some jokes I simply cannot stop laughing at, especially in Season 1.
Again, I am conflicted on which television series is my #1 favorite, but since Chowder is in the top three, that should prove how much I love it.

I didn't like this show at first, mostly because of the still pattern coloring technique, I just wasn't a fan, but it grew on me and I came to love it. The episode mentioned here where the actual voice actors had to raise money for the show was the high point for me.
That and the time they tried to make Mince Meach Pie. Those Meaches were brutal.

One of the things I love about always watching new cartoons is being able to relate to the kids who like them. I wasn't a kid in 2007, I was going into High School. But I never bought into the myth that cartoons weren't good any more--I knew that was just people being clouded by rose-colored glasses. But that's no less true today than it was ten years ago. I find that keeping yourself open to new things makes you less miserable and lonely, and watching new cartoons keeps you young at heart (which is important!). I just can't wait for the day when I can talk about Steven Universe with people who remember it from their childhoods. And then they'll be like, "Hey wait a minute, how old are you again? How old were you when you watched this?" :P

He teams up with two other guys also framed for the same crime. They were going to be voiced by Dirk Benedict and Mr. T. We may have gotten it if there was another season.
