So essentially what LG did was reboxed the legendary C1 with the newer processor and boom there ya go! Not a bad idea and for the price you can't go wrong. If I didn't already have my C1 I would be grabbing this baby. That being said. Great video Paul and that little dig at Samsung in the beginning was classic LOL.

    • @TheTechGiantYouTube
      @TheTechGiantYouTube  ปีที่แล้ว +6

Yeah it's a great strategy as it saves dumping perfectly good components and saves customers some cash, but at the the same time they are getting a brand new model that gets all the latest updates due to the new processor.

I’ve had budget TVs most of my life that I don’t replace until they break. I replaced a broken 32” 1080p tv from 2009 a few years ago, I was planning on keeping my cheap 43” Hisense lcd for many years but decided to buy this and it arrived the other day and I’m blown away. Was an interesting experience wall mounting this 55” on my own, I didn’t want to wait another day. Also looks great with RGBIC lights on it

I was looking for the C1 to begin with because I wanted something good for the PS5 but the LG expert in curry’s told me that the LG 65CS was everything the C1 is with all the new tech. I managed to get it and I have to say it’s simply amazing. I’m happy The Tech Giant made this video now cuz I wanted to know more about my TV. Great work bro! I'm now a proud owner of a LG 65"CS,comin from a 55" panasonic thats 7 years old so the difference is huge.Havn't tried HDR yet but have watched some 4k dolby Vision on HBO and looks amazing imo. Gonna buy some 4k UHD movies to play on my ps5 next. Very nice tv so far. Was NOT a nice time trying to get the stand on the TV..nervous breaking the screen the whole time. Would recommend if u buy a bigger screen then 65" to have 3 people doin it. 2 lifting it straight up and down to the stand and the last person screwing the stand on.

So C2 without EVO panel just like 42, 48" panels then...
    Strange

I bought an LG C1 after the Sony 900H broken 4k@120 and no VRR debacle.
It's an incredible TV tbh. Everything just works as intended. No issues with my connected receiver or PC and an incredible P.Q for 1080p and 4k content. Upscaling of SD content isn't bad either so I've actually dusted off my old SG1 dvds and re watching them lol!
Most importantly No Dirty Screen Effect, on paning camera sweeps when watching Football 🙂
I'm now an OLED convert and maybe in a few years time, Zeus willing, I'll consider QD-OLED.

Not sure whether to snap this up or wait for the C2 to come on offer again. Prefer all the ports on the side and the smaller stand on the C2 but not for a 1000€ more.

This is a good deal with the offer so thank you! I have been trying to convince myself to get either C2 or S95B, however in the end this offer/promo was good. This will be my first OLED therefore paying a bit less is better so i can see whether this is worth it. I can then get a C2 or S95B in future when they have decreased in price.
The S95B just feels a bit risky given the QA issues, plus its also the first year for this type of tech. The C2 just feels overpriced, even during BF. I would have happily taken a C2 for £800, but then i guess LG would have to drop the CS to £600-700, and they would probably be cannibalising their own low and mid TV ranges

To mention. I think this CS LG is the perfect version. It got the better processor over the C1. So the technology is among the best you can get. But, because they’re going above and beyond to sell these TV’s, because people will automatically opt for the C2 because it’s the newest, and at all the latest features (the only difference is that now it can get a bit brighter). You get the much posher stand. It’s the real premium stuff thsh doenst come with the C2 version. And it’s bit cheaper. So the 65 inch Verision I picked up for £1500. BARGAIN

I am looking at replacing my Dual Cell SX65 as it has developed a fault. That gets hammered, 18 hrs per day.
You think one of these could handle that? Not the same channel, different content and possibly mild gaming as already have a C835 for that.
I've still got my 2 plasmas but I want something as a reference for watching movies.

Hi mate (or anyone in the know), so I saw this LG OLED in a local Hughes shop today, it’s the CS6LA, so is that this exact model in the video? As you’ve only stated “CS”? Or is the 6LA the only CS model available? Which would make sense as to why you haven’t put the full model name.
By the way, my thoughts on the magic remote are the same as you Paul, it’s absolutely fantastic, had one for the last 6/7 years with our currant 4k LED LG, and I honestly couldn’t go back to a normal push button remote, with no air gesture type functionality. Typing words into TH-cam, with a standard remote is painful, takes ages, unless you’re only typing one word 😂 magic remote for the win👍🏻😁
