Once Mercer meets him face to face, Mcmullen decided to...let's just say he decided to ctrl+alt+delete himself out of the game. Mercer then hunts down Shocker to get his ticket onto the aircraft carrier, where Randall is located. Randall also activated a nuke to purge all of New York. With Randall's back turned, he gets consumed Mercer, and man did Mercer see some fucked up shit in his memories. In a plot twist, Cross pulled a Kono Dio Da and revealed that he's actually the T-002 Tyrant that Mercer slain previously.
