As a Californian, I aprove that nickname. That coastline looks EXACTLY like California, except those two beaches that looked like the Caribbean/Mauritius.
Yes western India has few Rocky coastline it's really beautiful and some other places like Gokarna, certain beaches in South Goa have rocky coastline..

Hi we had book cab from Teertha Tours & travels rstnagiri (pvt vehicle)...You may avoid visiting Punli beach as there is long trek of 2 KM rest all places are easily accessible from parking area of car. Enjoy your trip.

Hi didn't get what you are trying to say.. but in ratnagiri there are 2 temples one is Ganesh ghule temple (not very popular) and second is Ganapatiphule temple (very popular) both temples are equally serene and beautiful..
