This is very similar to the Penguin Palace Stencil 360, except that one has many more variations and it's more streamlined in design, function, and stencil patterns offered, as well as adaption of other craft companies' stencils one already has.
this is actually just like her wreath builder gina has had for manyyyyy years. just slightly changed for stencils! :) i haven't used nor have the other - but from what i have seen, it is amazing, too!

There are 8 possible positions and 8 more if you rotate the frame or paper an eighth (or sixth) of a turn with some measuring & centering. The basic pick up stencil, rotate stencil and put down stencil arrangement. Very simple to use. The Stencil 360 has a smooth rotating variable design (more than 8), no lifting and replacing, but takes a bit of knowhow to work it. The stamping part is another story if you like the MISTI. Sorry for the mix-up.
What a brilliant idea! I'm sure Gina has many ideas for the stencils. I would love to see the image closer to the center so when you trim it down, you don't lose the stencil image. I'm sure the sky is the limit. It's something to think about. You ladies rock!!

I just ordered all of the stencil builders and the wreath builder. I've had my eye on the wreath builder for a long time now. This was the push I needed to get it :). This is so very exciting with each and every step as it is so much more than just a circular wreath builder, but….this can work in conjunction with what you know about the wreath builder once you learn about the stencil builder. Personally, the craze of stenciling is something I have been enjoying because of the simplicity and absolute quick way to make a beautiful card.
