Crafting/cardmaking is a fun and creative outlet. A friend got me into cardmaking again so I have been doing again this past year. I get down alot when things get hard and cardmaking has been sort of a therapeutic outlet for me. And the bonus is, that you give someone else your creatiion to help make their day a little brighter.
Jennifer your the best....your creativity is out of this world. Everything you touch comes out magical...I know you make mistakes just like all of us but still you come out on top. thank you so much for sharing with all of us.. OH, I just loved this! It demonstrates the true JOY of creating; too often I focus on the finished product rather than the process. I forget that the goal is NOT a completed, "perfect" card, but enjoyment and using God-given talents to create and hopefully bring a little happiness to another. I am stunned that the "blue" background with lots of geometric shapes, ended up being a gorgeous Christmas card. How absolutely delightful to play with so many techniques and products at the same time! Jennifer, this is truly my favorite video of yours of all time, and I have been a fan for many years. Beautiful backgrounds! I love the color block look. The TH Brayer has a very uncomfortable handle so I only use it for glueing and use the more comfortable speedball Brayer for these techniques.. This video is over the moon Jennifer! It was fun to watch and the results are crazy good. I have yet to use my brayer or paste and will make some mica sprays of my own. I have tons of strips from backgrounds I’ve done and your techniques are perfect for using them. I’m excited to look through what I have.
