    You should do a video about the chains and binders you use. Like the sizes of chains and binders. Working load limits and how much securement you carry as well as safety flags.

    • @W96NZ
      @W96NZ ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Here in VA I use 1/2" chains and 1/2" binders. Got 4) 20' 1/2" chains and 4) 5' 1/2" chains with 8) 1/2" binders.
      Remember you can never get in trouble for having to many binders and chains.

      Hauling residential demo excavator half of the time is the only way to do it. Hauling machines to construction sites there’s plenty of space to disconnect

    You should always cross the chain on the back and on the blade I would go through the d ring and hook it kind short

    • @Grtruckingdemolitionllc
      @Grtruckingdemolitionllc  ปีที่แล้ว

      That could work to, there’s different ways I secure dozers. Sometimes I use 2 small 5ft chains on the blade one pulling each corner in.

    That was a $hitty tie down job. Should’ve used the d rings on the trailer, not the rail. And don’t hook to the tracks. This video is educational on what not to do.

    So i have watched a few Videos and i am ashamed how you safe your Loads. I mean i am from Germany, i don`t know if it is right in your Country, but in Germany or Europe at all you cant`t safe your Bulldozer like that. You never should safe your Doze on the tracks, every construction equipment has it`s exact spots where you can put your chains on to secure it, but you never secure it on the tracks, because everyone who workes with Dozers or Excavators knows that these tracks sometimes come lose or off, so they are no propert point to secure your load.
    At least in Germany it is like this, but i would recommend you to look for the right spot on the construction equipment to secure it. Just a little tip from Germany 🤙

    There’s a REASON you see on all new RGN trailers “DO NOT SIDE UNLOAD”! Look at all the damage to the top of the side rails on your trailer.

    • @Grtruckingdemolitionllc
      @Grtruckingdemolitionllc  ปีที่แล้ว

      We got this trailer at a auction years ago, was already beat from the sides. But one thing for sure this trailer has taken a beating and still has lots of life to go.
