Luisa, you know how to think out of the box. At first I was screaming about the process and at the end I love it. One think that I would add is a closure, a lock or some ribbon to make a bow so it look that is a booklet inside a journal. Thanks for the great ideas you and Barbara are sharing with us.
I think Barbara will approve! I love that you took the pages apart with respect and replace practically everything that you removed. I appreciate your love of art and your admiration for your friend!
I haven't been able to watch for a few days, but your "headline" today😬 I thought you had some sort of an accident 🥺 with your journal, then you came up with such a creative solution🤓, I love it, also the use of the packaging was brilliant. I really like that part of packing anyway, it has such amazing texture as well, now I can use is as a tab, thank you very much Luise🙏💚🌻☕
Sometimes you and Barbara decorate a page or a sheet, as for example you did today drawing the stencil with flowers, and I think: "Wow, how beautiful!" and it seems to me that it ended there, but then you continue spraying color or something else and this thing, this higher creative level, always surprise me. The little raccoon is so cute!
I like your little booklet... and I love the minty-turquoise page with the flowers stenciled in a light brownish - great colors, especially with the bit of 'bling'! I like all the additions with the tabs from the packaging too, and the banners are fun too. This was a wonderful 'project' today, especially being able to use up all the bits and pieces you cut off to make the booklet. And, OMGosh.. that raccoon is adorable. Thank you for sharing.

I love the way that you figured out how to make an index card journal without adding so much bulk but incorporating the pages that Barbara had already included in your journal. I don’t have a well functioning printer or I would purchase this gorgeous pack as well as your beautiful turquoise blue sea pack. I may have to work on making that a priority next year. Let us not fat shame our journals. Some of them spread open huge and voluptuous and become a little riotous. Some of them stay politely quiet and orderly. your cute woodland characters are some of my favorites from anyone. love the racoon. I had to make my grand daughter her own paper bag with the racoon last year because she wanted to steal mine and she's 23. thanks as always for sharing and all the inspiration.
I use packaging all the time. My tags are made from the card packaging that comes with so many things I buy online and off. I use paper bags that have been used to package items I have bought in several shops. Then there are the clear plastic packaging that comes with a lot of art/craft items. I like the idea of using the top of the foil snack package for tabs. I will try that soon. You inspire me so much. And I love your raccoon.

How scary to cut up the journal made for you by Barbara and knowing that she will watch this and see what you've done, but the fact that you reused every little piece that you cut off- is actually just repositioning not destroying anything. Very very clever and super effective and so beautiful.

Yes strange name and they taste nothing like a burger but same sort of consistency of those snacks. Wish I could send you some. Hahaha. OMGoodness... your journal is really starting to 'over-flow' with goodness and junk...LOL. Maybe for next year, it would be good to do signatures during the 25 days, and maybe then for a New Year celebration, create the cover to fit all the signatures. Your journals so far are totally awesome. I was also wondering what you do with the daily paper bags that hold your snack and animal/critter cards... do you add/use those in your journal as well? @@Charlathejournalingjunky he now uses an envelope opener so there are no ragged edges. At 73 he’s still trainable.

Yes, my plan worked. Of course there's some more thickness but using the pages themselves make it less thick than if I had added more pages.
