I'm a bourbon guy, I've tried a few different Scotches, but I couldn't really get into them. I tried a sample of this bottle a few days ago when I went in looking for a Jack Daniels SBBP Rye, and I really enjoyed it, I'm going back to pick one up. I like high proof bourbons, and this was my first pour of a cask strength scotch, so it definitely piqued my interest to try more.
It's such a great whisky!! I will warn that not all Scotches are good at cask strength, some of the notes are a little to delicate to stand up to the ethanol, so try adding a few drops of water to see how much it opens up.
