Just got my new 2022 Ranger Premium 1000 in Onyx Black. I love it. I picked it up a couple days ago. Never owned a side by side before. Your videos have been a great help to me.

I’m glad that I am not the only one who struggles with inserting the dip stick…get better Polaris!

I found the same amount of shaving in my front gearcase after doing the 25 hour service on my 2025 XP 1000. I thought it was quite a bit for a break in period. I’ll proviso another fluid change relatively soon maybe another 25-50 hours.

Very good video. I am going to try and purchase a my first side by side soon. It will be either the XP 1000 or the 1000 Premium. Not sure which one yet. All I have ever owned is a golf cart. So hopefully I'll be able to upgrade.

I purchased a 1000 Premium and am super happy with it. I think you would be as well. DJ has great videos for his SXS.

You did a great job on the video, I was planning on taking mine to the dealer for the 1st service but I may do it myself now. Thanks for sharing.

My dealer said to use demand drive fluid in the front diff. It looked like you used AGL.

@@DJsWorkshop okay didn't want you to damage anything so I would check it out. Thanks for the quick reply

@@roydilliplane4090 you are correct. The manual says to use AGL for the rear gear case and Demand Drive Fluid for the front gearcase.

There weren't any grease fittings that I could see. Maybe for a different model

So, I see I'm not the only one who found the oil plug crush washer in the bottom of their drain pan after they added their fresh oil :-(

I know, those manuals can be difficult to decipher.
