Great series! Any tips on how to not get poke checked, my opponents skate through me whilst avoiding my pokes but not the case when I'm skating at them! Subbed
Andy Whyte thanks buddy! As far as getting around poke checks, definitely hold a back hand deke while your skating into the zone. If they are constantly poke checking at the line the chances for a tripping call go through the roof if your performing a deke. Il have a video coming up going over advanced stuff in the O zone and D zone that will help!
if you want a more challenging game both on offense and defense change your camera to true broadcast. it obviously has it s glitch goals not many its a lot better playing the zones and working the power play. games are way more intense and if you can change your stick from side to side rather up and down you will have a much better game play experience. in my opinion i started playing this from the beginning nhl hockey for my sega genesis.
Hey man so in the first 10 seconds u just tap into back of the net with no hesitation when I try just holding up on the analogue stick he always tries a slapper or to put too much power by which time the goalie is back across. How can I just tap or redirect it in?
Yea good video, I think my main issue is shooting. Like I would always be in between a slapshot and wrist, and the puck just stays on my stick and poke checked away, should I change my controller so that I use b to shoot rather than analogic stick? Like I don't even know (got game couple days ago)
Dude, your videos are great. Very professionally done and they are very helpful and informative too! So many gamers make videos and you can tell that they just love the sound of their own voice. Well you're welcome, and I really appreciate your videos. I pretty much stopped playing NHL17 because I felt like the AI was just terrible. Then I stumbled upon your Strategies and Line Combos video and felt like a big dumb dummy because I was super guilty of skipping right through to the action! Once I made the changes that you suggested, it was like night and day. All of a sudden my team is playing like a team and I don't feel like throwing my controller through the wall. My first game was a 6-0 win on All-star setting against the Eastern All Stars squad.
Christoph Maier no sir, just cut into the slot and wrist it home. Keep it simple. I really only use L2 when defending the rush, it's very easy to lose the puck when using L2
Sleeveless Gaming good shit. honestly I'm 221-103 div 1in hut know what I'm doing defense and scoring but one thing always struggled with is the one timers cross crease this year. Never noticed the difference think I'm in crash the net but trying the overload. Good looking out
dedsdxdcdfdr it ranges due to playing hut and eashl more and more now, but I sit anywhere in between 100-250, going to versus hard again in the coming month tho

overload buddy, always the overload! start downlow and begin passing it along the boards until the slot opens for a rocket
