The driving exp probably are one or two level up from the prev model but things like the unfoldable rear seats, less rear headroom, lack of usb port on the front and lack of spare tyre are really pulling down the overall score and maybe are deal breaker for some.
I own the 2021 model Vios and hate the interior because of how much of a step down it was from the City. Looking at the current gen Vios, i would have traded in my 2021 for this had it come with a spare tyre. I should have gone for the City instead.😂
The Vios is advertised with 3 USB Ports in its product literature. 2 in the back as described in the video but the front was left out from being mentioned. There is a single USB-A Port on the right bottom of infotainment unit hidden behind a rubber clasp insert.
it will be interesting to see if Toyota will launch the DNGA Yaris or just rebadge the Myvi like how they did in Indonesia for Axia. Since everything is very Daihatsu'ism now, this Vios is more like a Myvi sedan than a Toyota Vios. Yaris might go down the same route as Rush and Veloz when Perodua launch the new Myvi with DNGA if Toyota still make the Yaris with DNGA in the future.

@@yazanomar3337 yes, i went to the showroom and check out both E and G spec. The plastic quality is more towards a Perodua than a Toyota (like the case of Aruz/Rush and Alza/Veloz). The previous Vios has better plastic quality although missing out the soft touch leather. Leather quality on the seats feel a level higher than the Perodua but the steering leather quality is just exactly the same as an Ativa. Overall this Vios is more like a Perodua than a Toyota.
@@xiper86 Perodua should've rebadge it as a Sedan version for Myvi, same platform like Ativa, Alza & Axia, same engine and same transmission like current Myvi. There's a high chances Perodua might rebadge it to fight againts the upcoming Proton S50 which will be launch end of this year.

Nice dashboard styling, hatchback design, paddle shifters and better fuel economy. My only complaint was the lack of USB at the front and the low rear headroom. Standing at 1.82m (6 feet) in my shoes, I had to slouch and my hair still almost touches the roof !
