1:51 one of the reasons why crims rob cops is because of the lack of crim items being distributed throughout the server.
ie : limited amount of armor crates every 2 weeks, same with gun crates; no crim healing items that are worth while.
Also most crim jobs do not pay anywhere close to the civ jobs (except weed); plus the risk vs reward for crims is in a horrible state right now, due to the high fines and debtor jail, that’s why you see streamers like spaceboy switching servers.
Hopefully some of this stuff gets fixed, but I doubt it will anytime soon. On a final note the slow drip feed of new things is also not coming off well rp wise kinda because of the lack of features for jobs in general. IMO grime and lumber both need major changes. But I know my opinion doesn’t matter, it’s just fun watching the slow death spiral of the server.

It's the council making changes, but it's not the council making changes, It's only Crane on the council making changes, And he says that it's the state that's issuing these changes. So who's deciding on these changes.
Crims only looted cops for their guns when there wasn't any other way to get them earlier in 4.0. Now that there are benches for guns available, I feel like a couple of fines are outdated and need to be readjusted.

That isn't a reason to do it in RP though. And all the planting cop guns / hot guns on people crap was ooc salt over how possession charges work.
fine for cop guns being lowered would result in PD getting lootboxed against because it is still the easiest way to get a gun
@@crazfulla It's reasonable to think it was a mixture of both, to be fair, and rightfully so. The charges are anti-RP, which happens to affect the character and the streamer. The characters themselves are taking the full brunt of these charges - it's reasonable that these characters in this story are pissed off at how the city is being managed. I agree fully with what @Eaton_Puthy said as well.
@@Trashman.69420 I wouldn't say they are anti RP. Because shooting and holding up cops constantly isn't RP. it's powergaming (at a certain point). The RP is in the situation itself. Imo I'd like to see crims start actually participating in council meetings, rather than shooting them up. That would be great RP. I'd like to see crims start a prison economy where prisoners can buy smuggled weapons etc, that would be great RP. But some simply refuse to do those things. So in reality imo the changes help to promote actual RP and make things more enjoyable for everyone on the server, not just one group.

If Koil actually managed the server it would not be so bad. The issue is that Koil does not want to and so he lets a group of admins that are primarily cop mains make all the decisions. So of course, because of that things get out of hand. I mean the fact that they make big changes to the server rules without him knowing it says it all.
Its funny that he brings up the having a reason to rob the cops but the owner and admin were the 1st two people to rob cops for no reason other then to get a gun. Then you have admins bring out air1 for a weed sale and taking over the PD coming up with things like 24hr holds for impersonation. One side gets punished with irl bans or days in jail while the others get a dab point for putting out equally low effort rp

With debters law, more fines = more time is jail now. So like with CG, i dont think any of them have 750k.. meaning they will have to world off most of that fine while in prison. So that 10 days turns into 20.. And you cant just log off to server your time either.. if they want to get out, they have to be awake and working in prison for all thos hours/days until their fines are paid. And I believe its only a few thousand a hour that can be works off at a time.. so do the math.. Lets say its 5k a hour that can be worked off.. thats 150 of IN GAME hours extra they would have to be in jail for. And take a normal working day as 8 hours.. thats almost 19 extra days, working 8 hours a day in the prison. So the PD wants to give CG 10 days jail(which they dont have to be in game for), plus another 19 days days (that they HAVE to be IG for) THEN once they FINALLY get out.. they have another 10 days of probation in which they cant get caught doing anything criminal. 29 days jail + 10 days probations.
So I dont think more money is the answer.. as long as debters law is still a thing.

@@lemons7715 Yes that was when the time for that charge was 1440 hours or 1 day. The time has since been dropped twice, first to 720 then to 480 or 8 hours.

Has NoPixel ever tried having all time served concurrently rather than consecutive? This is how most IRL crimes are except for a few exceptions. It could ease some of the pressure crims feel about excessive sentences and/or stacking.
I bet koil or some other administration is gonna have to be involved it's getting kinda weird tbh it makes no sense for shavon and the mayor to be involved when where victims themselves

Koil needs to play Franny for a week. Civ guns are the easiest to obtain and best guns rn. No one is lootboxing cops for guns anymore. Also would help if the crim guns didnt cost 1000 BC to make 1 load out. Armor is the main reason PD get robbed rn because theres no reliable source for crims
The reason why it cost so much is because he doesn’t want people to have an abundance of guns and armor. His goal isn’t to stop crims from robbing cops. His goal is to not have a bunch of guns and armor in the city. Which is why robbing cops gets you heavily punished.

Not that i fully agree with the charge it's not just "killing counsil members" it's terrorism which I think is the worst charge you can get also first degrees murder because tj permad. Literally two of the biggest charges you can get. Also prison break charge. Compared to irl you'd probably be in jail for along time if not life.

Well technically noone died from the shooting, the only person that choosed to perma later took a defibrillator to the head. Then there is the terrorism thing, technically u could argue it was because of the Peanuts Mom situation, as stupid as it sounds u can still argue about it and u can hear Peanut say "For my mama". If there is a script and the outcome is already set in place i could imagine the Grand Finale being Dab getting locked in for good again or getting killed for good but if there isnt CG might be fcked since the judge for the case was pretty much picking the charges together with Dab.

Tldr.. your right Koil, this isnt RL. But your PD is acting like it is, and punishing criminals like it is. Having to spend 10+ IRL days in a game prison, for bringing criminal RP and content to people/streamers (whom prolly had their viewer count peaking during that time as well because of it) is freakin crazy. Its just game, but its also alot of peoples jobs. And while some streamers will be able to handle RP'ing in prison, some streamers will drop viewership because of it.. affecting their paychecks.
Everything that happens in RP isn't koil fault he has no control over an individual's actions, but at the same time, it is pretty annoying that he is aware of things happening and not taking action against it he says he don't want certain things happening then why let it happen

That pertained to earlier 4.0. It’s not a thing anymore so that’s why a lot of ppl are saying Koil needs to play more since what he’s saying is out of the loop and a thing of the past. Kind of sucks since now a lot of the big players are jumping ship to other servers because of the lack of attendance to major issues.
