I've hiked point lobos many times over 40 plus years. Overcrowded mostly imho these days. Good luck getting in even when paying, parking on the busy highway be carefull of traffic. Mixed feelings here about the heavy usage, probably one of the most beautiful coastline areas on the central coast.

thanks!! some parts of the trail are muddy and part of the south side of the trail seems to be closed still (hidden beach, bird island trail, gibson beach areas)
Is this near China Cove?
China Cove is apart of the Bird Island Trail 3:14, in between Hidden and Gibson Beach!
Would you say this is toddler friendly
Last question which trail would you recommend to on first, easy short one cause I am also taking my 4 month old?
