So interesting to see what everyone is doing with these. I’m never an early adopter as I don’t have the money for that. Being able to watch pioneers and follow them is great. I weigh 150 and typically see 12-20knots. I was debating between 4 and 5m. 4 seems small. 5 seems ideal but they don’t seem to pack down easily.
I figured out to stay up wind by using harness & it helped take away the load from your arms…had been up on foil with BRM 5.1 m …I weigh 150# w/ KT drifter 100 Lt. 5’6”… bridles tangled happens, just learn to untangle them..fun to learn a new beast..
Have you already used the new bridle config at stronger winds? I wonder at how much wind you would start feeling overpowered on the 4m2 with the new configuration
It handles gusty conditions much better. Not sure I feel better upwind angle. I had no problem with my harness setup going upwind on the old setting just as good as using a wing. You can change the angle of attack giving you more or less power. I do feel it’s harder to get the Parawing through a transition but probably just need to find the finesse. Need to spend more time on it in actually windy conditions.
They’re basically the same. I have no trouble even on the old bridle setting. Getting over powered was the issue that hopefully has been addressed with this new configuration. Just need a big day to test it out.

I would go with the 4m of you have a DW board.
Impressive swapping stance
Thanks! It’s key for going upwind.

I have not. Tomorrow is looking spicy so I should have some feedback soon.
Waiting for the wind to try the new configuration. The sides are no longer flapping, upwind similar to regular wings.

It is much better upwind and less flapping too. Upwind similar to regular wings
how do your upwind angles compare to the wing (same board & same foil)?

You sir have far more patience than I possess.
