Awesome bro! Greetings from sunny Aruba, looking like your having a blast...
Great Progress! Looks like you don't keep much help on the Pump Up with the ParaWing and you need to rely more on Leg Pump. Keep those videos coming :)
When it’s windy gets up and going easy!
Wow! I take it your recommend the Parawing to climb upwind and DW? Looks amazing!
Yes, it’s amazing. Goes upwind just as good as wing and way faster.
@@foilthegreats I've been watching these parawing videos thinking the experience looks far more cumbersome than winging but if it gets you upwind faster than a wing, well then that's a thing
It is definitely harder and more physical but you can’t beat the feeling of putting your wing away and just surfing.
2.9 is so fun! Did you see my post about the 3mm dyneema shock cord for the harness line?
It is! I prefer a rigid harness line as it’s way easier to get in and out fast. I’m really happy with the 20” mono
@@foilthegreatsI hear ya, but it’s cool to not need to unhook at all when heading upwind. Then when you fall and restart, you can clip in before even standing up. The only time you need to clip in is after a redeployment post wave. It tangles way less than a mono line (which I tried already)
I like to hook and unhook constantly, I like that freedom. I do the same when winging.
@@foilthegreats same here when winging, but the bungee only feels like it’s hooked in when you extend your arm out to relieve the pressure. When you pull in to manually fly, you can easily control tension and it feels like you are only partially hooked in. With the mono line, it’s either full hook in or non. Not the case with the shock cord.
Yes but that is what I want. I have fallen in the shore break a few times and the last thing I want is to still be hooked in. The Parawing acts like a sea anchor. That is why I will not use a leash on the Parawing as well.
What foil were you using in this video? What do you think is the minimum wind speed for parawinging this 2.9 with that foil?
I’m using AFS 1050/142 I would say 15 kts with a bump assist you can get up. If just getting pulled up over 20 kts
