Thank you-My Mazda fob was weakly locking/unlocking the doors, but it got to a point where, apparently, the signal was so weak, my car thought that it was being stolen. The anti-theft feature engaged, which cut the power, and did something to the steering where it became inoperable. I thought my steering column had snapped and was about to call a tow truck to take it to a mechanic. The 'start' button in the car was flashing amber and the key icon on the dashboard was red, so I thought I may as well open it up to clean it. I sprayed a WD-40 product (NOT the lubricant) that is made to clean electronic circuitry, re-assembled the fob and everything not only went back to normal, but I can now lock/unlock it from like, 1/8th of a mile a way like when it was new! SO, thank you for this video.
Thanks for the video - I just replaced my Mazda Key FOB shell/case and was curious how you installed the chrome logo piece? Did you simply snap it is or use a little super glue to prevent it from falling out?

Thank You!
The o-ring around the battery department's lid is missing. That's why it pops out. It's a red ring that keeps out dust and moisture.

I have a plastic holster to keep it in place. you can find the part with the logo on ebay usually and just simply change the hole panel
