MAZDA 6 KEY FOB REPAIR /CLEANING

  • After replacing the battery my remote still won't work so I decided o clean the inside including the electrical circuit board. Sometime dust can block the electrical contact or actually dropping the key can make parts loose.

    The o-ring around the battery department's lid is missing. That's why it pops out. It's a red ring that keeps out dust and moisture.

    Thanks for the video - I just replaced my Mazda Key FOB shell/case and was curious how you installed the chrome logo piece? Did you simply snap it is or use a little super glue to prevent it from falling out?

      I have a plastic holster to keep it in place. you can find the part with the logo on ebay usually and just simply change the hole panel

    My fob doesn't have a screw top on it and it had a metal component that diesnt appear on this video😊
