    For higher education, it's only UoC but in Ontario there are all good rank universities. So families with children who will be getting admission in universities, should think about this before moving.

    A bit of correction: Airdrie has its own transit, and it does connect you to Calgary!

    Thank you for making such an informative video. You spoke about all the real things key things like the landlords being able to increase your rent to whatever they want, the car maintenance thing, generally needing a car. Definitely a lot of good things to consider also thank you for saying that if Toronto is big you can always move to the other sounding areas like the gta, Hamilton, Brampton etc.

  • @TheInternetFan

    5:39 the rent cap is a big overlooked issue by many -- yes some stuff is cheaper in Calgary than in GTA but things are rapidly getting expensive in Calgary too. Thank you for pointing this one out :-)

    Toronto has 46 km of shoreline in addition to 5 great lakes nearby, and 100s around muskoka, tobermory to name a few with 1000s of view points, not all of them are sandy and has a different view and calm at every location and each has a hiking trails/ biking trail in addition to activities like kayaking and canoing , snowshoeing for winters. vs calgary where you will have to drive out and lakes and mountains arnt beachy or offer hikes/trails at each spot.

    Lived in Calgary for couple for couple of years before moving to Toronto in early 2023. Owning townhome here now though was able to buy detached in Calgary. It gives me sense of satisfaction about my career and living in big city like Toronto. Its a just matter of time in next 1 or 2 years people will start thinking to move back but that will be too late.

    Thanks for putting this video. I can actually make my decision in the 2nd minute its'self since I can not take harsh winters in Calgary. I have lived in New Brunswick before so I can imagine calgary will be way more colder than I have seen. But again, you have done a great job in sharing your honest views of living in Alberta..

      It was my first winter in Calgary and it was much much better than montreal- January was virtually snow free. colder weather of -35 was just a week or two in total and snow totals were much less than montreal.and ottawa

      I have been living in Calgary for last 8.5 years and by far this is the cleanest, family oriented and humble city in Canada...Weather is way beautiful than propagated in East for wrong reasons. We have dry climate, with lot of sun and Chinook winds...

    • @asadb1990
      @asadb1990 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @991tanmay disadvantage is its really only for a single employer and under certain categories only such as acountants, engineers, lawyers, pharmacists, scientists and teachers. But its a fixed 3year visa that is dependent on employee. You can't work another job unless that job qualifies for tn as well. No odd jobs. Tn doesn't really qualify for sponsorship. The advantage is its quick to get and setup.
