We have used this method on thousands of floors but to be safe like using any new cleaner you should check your manufacturer's guidelines and test a small spot in an inconspicuous area first.

It's such an amazing method. Literally changed my life!
I bought the spin mop per your suggestion and I Love it! Thank you!
Thank you so much for the advice on how to get your nice clean floor clean I love the idea of the Spin Mop looks like it works great I have tile floor throughout my house except for one room has carpet still
I wish the spin mop bucket was white so I could easily see how dirty the water was getting.
I mop everyday and it still comes out dirty
Me too. I always buy white when I can
Line it with a white trash bag
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Beautiful floors. That shine with Tide. 😊
Kudos to u for making this video.
Great video!
We moved into a house full of hard wood floors. In my old house I always used your recipe of hot water and powdered tide with a spin mop. I have done these floors a couple times, scrubbed on hands and knees. whatever polish product they used on them is not cutting down! It is so smudgy and gross. Do you have any further recommendations of how to cut down the old polish quicker?
Can this method be used on kitchen tile floors? Mine have a wax polish and I’ve been trying to find the safest way to clean them without breaking down the polish.
Do you have to get creative with the short power cable of the vacuum? I just bought this vacuum and love it, except the short power cord. 😅
Thank you Mom
can you use the tide powder with bleach already in it for wood floors??
Wow , I see this Mexican floor mopping hack made it here , it’s official then , this must be the best way
Is it ok to just let this mixture dry on the hardwood? Or do you have to rinse off after?
Yes, completely okay. You don't want your mop to be soaking wet though. If you are using a spin mop give it a good 7-9 pumps so the mop head is damp when you are moping.
What would you recommend for cleaning multiple times a day (after each meal, toddlers lol) is there any type of spray mop or solution that would work for every day use for quick clean ups in between spin moping?
I typically just use hot water for quick "once overs" in between.
I use a swiffer mop with wet mop pads to clean up small messes
Thoughts on the bissel cross wave or similar?
Please answer this 🙂. I just bought the Bissell spin wave. Wondering if I can use the water and Tide for it.
@@CMacDonald-ss7rx I just bought one too - I just got it so haven’t used it. I read online that if you use anything other than Bissell product in it, you void the warranty.
Can you use borax
Is this OK for vinyl and laminate flooring?
Yes! I have vinyl and do this exact method.
Pleeeease make a video on how to remove yellow stains from sunscreen on a white shirt 😊😊
Try a paste of basking soda and peroxide. That has worked wonders on stains for me, including tumeric and pit stains which are notoriously impossible to remove.
@@jowiens32 do I leave it on for a certain amount of time or immediately use it to scrub off?
Can this be used on hardwood floors?
Yes
How much Tide? What is the formula/ratio of Tide & hot water?
We have a whole blog article dedicated to our recipes. Linked below for all the measurements

We need an alternative to tide. Regular washing powder? Tide isn’t available everywhere
Even where I am in Canada, it's not always available.
I've never not seen tide in Canada?
Dawn dish soap and white vinegar. Small drop of dawn, 1/4 cup of vinegar. Most don’t like the smell of vinegar but it cleans everything and odor is gone as soon as dry. Works great! I am a Mom, Grandma and my roommate is a white harry dog. Tried everything.
So you are turning powder time into a steam how can that be good for ur lungs or ur pets lungs ? Nothing like a tide facial
I’m watching this because my rental is dirty. 😮. It’s small. Thank goodness 😅
I also had a rental...I believe the highlights are still on my Instagram. After that clean the for sale sign went up lol.

@@gocleanco we dont want to have to go to another video, why not just ell us here. going elsewhere is annoying.
Don't use TIDE it is formulated for clothing not floors. Use the proper floor cleaner for your type of flooring as to not ruin your floor.
I think you are ill-informed in the recommendations you are trying to convey. The video provides a safe and effective method to clean hardwood floors.
like what?
Makes the whole process pointless if after washing you are treading all over the place with shoes on…
you wash the floor in such an order that you END up beside the couch where you have the tv remote and a drink. u mop all around the couch, sit down then mop where your feet were. then watch tv and wait for the floor to dry. wont take long. this is what i do. no footprints on the floor this way.
Actually it's Not a Woman's Job
a Woman's work is knever through
Just bought this mop, and it’s been such a game changer for cleaning my floors, love it! And the zing! @courtney.rundell
