    We moved into a house full of hard wood floors. In my old house I always used your recipe of hot water and powdered tide with a spin mop. I have done these floors a couple times, scrubbed on hands and knees. whatever polish product they used on them is not cutting down! It is so smudgy and gross. Do you have any further recommendations of how to cut down the old polish quicker?

    Can this method be used on kitchen tile floors? Mine have a wax polish and I’ve been trying to find the safest way to clean them without breaking down the polish.

    Is it ok to just let this mixture dry on the hardwood? Or do you have to rinse off after?

    • @gocleanco
      @gocleanco  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, completely okay. You don't want your mop to be soaking wet though. If you are using a spin mop give it a good 7-9 pumps so the mop head is damp when you are moping.

    What would you recommend for cleaning multiple times a day (after each meal, toddlers lol) is there any type of spray mop or solution that would work for every day use for quick clean ups in between spin moping?

    • @johnniedunford2464
      @johnniedunford2464 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I typically just use hot water for quick "once overs" in between.

      Dawn dish soap and white vinegar. Small drop of dawn, 1/4 cup of vinegar. Most don’t like the smell of vinegar but it cleans everything and odor is gone as soon as dry. Works great! I am a Mom, Grandma and my roommate is a white harry dog. Tried everything.

    Don't use TIDE it is formulated for clothing not floors. Use the proper floor cleaner for your type of flooring as to not ruin your floor.

      you wash the floor in such an order that you END up beside the couch where you have the tv remote and a drink. u mop all around the couch, sit down then mop where your feet were. then watch tv and wait for the floor to dry. wont take long. this is what i do. no footprints on the floor this way.
