Love Deion so much and this is small road bump. Also, good on Lanning for highlighting something that would get his group fired up. Not every situation requires people to pick a side ;)
Love Deion also but had made the bump bigger than it should've. The Prime effect had the media covering Colorado vs Colorado St. like it was the national championship. His ability to get attention is a gift & curse
Colorado had DL the size of big SEC LB's and their LB's were the size of SEC DB's. They were always going to get run over. Same thing will happen against USC. This isn't a failure of Deion's system. Just its first year.
I have NO problem with what Lanning said and I'm a CU fan. The guy was motivating his team and that is what he is supposed to do. However, he was also playing for clicks because he is the one that invited that camera crew in for the speech. Lanning KNEW EXACTLY what he was doing. More power to the Ducks, but Colorado is still COMING. Just need another recruiting cycle to compete consistently with top 10 teams.
Actually I think ESPN asked and he said yes. Either way yeah he knew what he was doing, and I have no problem with it. I will say this, Deion says he keeps receipts, and I have no problem with that either. Just that its not unique, every coach pretty much keeps receipts. Colorado is coming, just not there yet. That to my mind is the whole story, and its not that much of one, but wow doesn't it get all over the media.
Oregon has like 30 alternate uniforms, has cleats that change colors, that is for clicks, nothing wrong with it but just hypocritical. Phil Knight made Nike a empire by knowing how to get clicks and he is Oregons biggest funder.
Coach Lanning's pre-game speech got a lot more coverage than normal. I saw some commentary saying that the speech was a bit too aggressive and potentially petty. I was lucky enough to play the sport for 13 years and I can say, based on experience, that Coach Lanning's pre-game speech was tame in comparison to many of the pre-game speeches I heard. If any of you played football, I suspect that you would agree. I thought it was a great pre-game speech for what it is worth.
It was a Scripted event. The announcers said, "The access was unusual" and his little punchline. Wasnt genuine at all. He thought he destroyed Everything
The announcers said they were granted access after asking. They weren’t invited. Pretty much every pregame speech is scripted. No HC is going to get in front of the team on gameday and wing it.
@@bennyce5430To add some context, I definitely think Coach Lanning had that speech planned. I think the letting the cameras into the locker room wasn't. There was some things that happened before the game that I think got him peeved. First and foremost, the scuffing of the O on their walk through. We take that kind of thing VERY serious here. Too serious, if I'm being honest. The Huskies dancing on it led to an ethos in the program of never letting them win that led to a 12 year streak against them. Second, Deion and some of his players Paraded around the sidelines pregame and went over to the Oregon side to interact with the student section. That is not normal, at all. They were riling them up and stuff. Finally, during warmups, some of their players were intentionally encroaching well onto the Oregon side of the field and trash talking with the Ducks when they had an entire half a field to practice. So Colorado did some things that I think upset Coach Lanning and he decided a speech that was supposed to be private, would be public. Edited it to make it more readable and less text wall😅.
His even allowing camera's in shows that it was all for clicks and to represent the good old boys.😅 He's a white hater as is many other people in ncaa football. I'm sorry to hear Rich that you're agreeing with how he feels, you won't be receiving anymore clicks from me. No one could've even told you Oregons coaches name before this week, that's Prime's Power.
There was a racial element to it tho. The hate was real. What would that coach and coaches like him do if all Bruhs went to HBCU’S? How about that? Maybe bros should “take their talents” to the SWAC IN MASS. THEN WHAT?

No one cares.. Coach Prime averages 9 million weekly viewers.. He will continue to be the topic of discussion as long as he continue to dominate weekly viewership
When UGA blows out Ball State could you honestly say it's becuase Ball State got out coached or does UGA have a huge talent gap advantage over Ball state, in the area that matter most (the trenches). Now when UGA blew out Tennesse last year they out coached them becuae Tennesse has the same caliber of talent. When UGA blew out Dan Lanning and Oregon last year 49-3 you can't really say Lanning got out coached becuase it was his first year and he needed time to get more players in to be able to compete with a complete team like UGA. Michigan Blowing out Ohio State these last two years, that's the definition of outcoaching. It's about the Jimmy's and Joe's, it becomes about the X's and O's when both teams are full of Jimmy's and Joe's.
I think you’re missing it. Everyone knows Oregon beat them Deion said it himself they got their butts kicked. Deion is and has been what he is for decades. People would respect Lanning more if he just owned that yeah he let the cameras in, he is glad Deion brought the views, and he intended to beat the snot out of CU which they did. Instead he does an interview talking about he guesses a camera got in and he needs to be humble. People like Deion just like Trump or anyone else they feel are authentic. When you are obviously being fake folks will call you out regardless of winning the game and coaching better.
Any student of football knew beating OR was a long shot. Same next week against SC. Buffs were a 3 td underdog. Lanning acting like they were being disrespected or something. 😂. Prime is building something and people believe for the first time in a couple decades. Everything is going according to plan. Not worried at all.
Lanning is not acting like disrespected. The whole team got disrespected. Scraping the team logo and laughing is disrespecting the university. People can't even see that. They provoked the team and when they got what they deserved, they played victims. Losers can't accept the beating.
The whole team got disrespected by Colorado not only did they scrape the logo on Friday by stomping on it then they tried to take the whole field in warm-ups, which is another disrespectful unwritten rule to do and that’s not even to get into the fact that basically all of the media on ESPN and Fox Sports on these shows like first take and speak and first things first had people saying Colorado was going to win. It was honestly the majority, so yeah, they felt disrespected because they were the better team by far, they were always going to destroy Colorado and they were being picked to get upset
People are tired of the media coverage of Coach Prime. He may become a good coach, but three wins over average teams? No one covered the Tulane coach last year when he made the greatest turnaround in NCAA football history (2-10 to 12-2 with bowl win over USC). WHY ALL THE COVERAGE FOR COACH PRIME?
They will get blown out in the playoffs again. They like to show out against lesser competition in Autzwn but get waxed by their equals on the big stage. That's why no one is really taking Oregon seriously. They're sitting behind Wsshington, USC, and Utah looking from the outside in. If they had showed up the same way vs CU as they did Texas Tech then we'd all be laughing at them today. Oregon made CU their superb owl, and that's fukin hilarious to me. Going for it on 4th downs, fake punts, trick plays, and leaving g the 1st team out there getting injured in a blow out. That's amazing to me. 😂😂😂
@steveandersen996 Your point conflicts with itself a little. USC looked like hot garbage this week. That shares commonality with the Oregon - Texas Tech game. I think these teams are legitimately sleepwalking past way lessor opponents looking forward to CU games. CU isn't great, I would argue they're decent, and will probably pull out 7 or 8 wins, but I fully expect them to get blown out again vs USC. To me it looks like top 10 teams are taking CU far more seriously since that TCU game and are preparing early. That's just my take. We've seen this for years in the SEC, teams looking passed each other to "Beat bama"...to me that's wild, but it looks like it to me. How else do you explain the Oregon Texas Tech game or the USC Arizona State games...they were bored sleepwalking passed very bad teams and ready to take their shot at the national attention getters...CU has a bama sized target on their back, and I think it's hilarious tbh.
@@griftinggamer Oregon has played in two national championship games in 12 years...they didn't get "blown out" by anyone in getting there. You really don't know if a football is pumped or stuffed, do you?
There’s no shame to losing to Oregon. As far as I’m concerned Deion has already proved to everyone that this season is a success. They won ONE game last season! He’s already won 3 and it’s his first season.
@mitchkim6763 The point everyone seems to miss is.. It's not Dion's Coaching skills that are responsible for the 3 wins this season... it's nothing more than exploiting the newly implemented transfer portal. No skills needed in this case.
@@Ripsnort12except skills at running off fellas from CO and selling his vision to other guys ( many of them will get the same treatment after this season by him).
Lanning saying "not for clicks" while simultaneously letting the media in the locker room for his speech is ironic. As is him saying "not rooted in flash" while coaching oregon (who has had a different uniform combo for 10 years straight) is also hilariously ironic.
It's poor comprehension to hear that speech and think Lanning is saying Oregon wants 0 attention. Oregon is getting their attention from wins or being a good team, Colorado is getting their attention through spectacle and flash. And Lanning literally said at half-time "Hope everyone watching Colorado is seeing this", obviously the dude isn't pretending that he wants literally zero media coverage. Players didn't seem to think it hypocritical, so maybe you don't understand what he meant.
@codyb.3015 no I do understand, thanks. I just think it's rich to act like Oregon doesn't have flash or value social media engagement. Every single team does and needs to in this era of college football. Also, if Colorado was 0-3 going into that game, it's obviously a different phenomenon; they've been winning games too.
@@termination09 Oregon hasn't been the flashy uniform team since like 2015. They have different jerseys because Phil Knight is a donor but thats where it ends. Dan Lanning has nothing to do with what Oregons reputation was in 2012. He's from the Kirby Smart tree & is all about physicality and toughness first. He just wants to build towards wins.
Just because the Ducks HAVE flash, doesn't mean they're rooted in flash. Also, having flashy uniforms while playing solid football is NOT the same as hyping yourself up in the media while having no O or D lines. Oregon is also the Nike test bed.
Outside of the footballness of it all…I have to say that the message that Rich is sharing abt his show and his style in comparison to other shows is a great point to make in this current social media climate is SO IMPORTANT. I saw a diverse team, focused on talent and teamwork, DESTROY a team focused on RACE, and attention. One Coach bragging about having 75% black players, and his endorsements. One coach 100% focused on his whole team & playing football. (Not money or the skin color of players) Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I want a college football coach who grabs his clothes from the Book Store, or wears what they hand him. Not one working on Fashion endorsements, clothing lines and BS. Their job is to COACH during the season. Then to allow and import distractions from all over the country to roam your sidelines, drunk and stoned during the game, also serves ZERO purpose other than to distract and take mental attention away from your team. (I’m not sure how having major celebrities actors rappers, etc. roaming around the sideline is supposed to help a team WIN?) None of it seems smart to me. None of it says FULLY FOCUSED on the team. As a player, Dion was all about Dion and no one else. He’s still obviously a highly self centered egomaniac. I had his primetime poster on my wall in 1988, in eighth grade, but by 10th grade, I was a little more mature and growing sick of his self-centered antics. I loved his athleticism, but always thought he was far too self centered to really cheer for. Some people let their actions speak for them, some… are obsessed w/themselves. Sadly, all those traits are showing in his son as well. Driving a $350,000 car around campus, when a third of the students are working nights to pay for top Ramen and cell phone bills, is simply tacky and disrespectful to your fellow students and team members.
Lanning and Oregon could have made it much worse. They called off the dogs when up by 42-0...and that was early in the 3rd. What Rich Eisen doesn't get - nor does anybody else in the media - is that Lanning respects the hell out of Coach Prime, but he despises the media. That includes legacy media, sports media, sports podcasts and all the other "hot garbage" media outlets in the country. Additionally, everybody was getting a little weary of Lebron, Warren Sapp, Jordan, Stephen A., and a million other celebs sniffing Colorado's butt. None of this is Coach Prime's fault. It's the b.s. media and celebs...as usual. Lanning and Oregon - and a growing number of football fans across the country - had about enough of the media sycophants...nothing against Colorado. I - like Eisen - thought Lanning's pregame speech was epic...too bad they didn't play the whole thing - it was incredible as you could tell from the players' reaction. Good job, Oregon. Good luck, Coach Prime. Media - shove it.
Oh heck, here we go with blame it on the media.... if Oregon got all of that attention instead of Colorado would you have wanted it to disappear? Probably not because I bet you think Oregon DESERVES it and Colorado doesn't. Oregon won, but I still smell jealousy, nay worse... envy. VALIDATION IS WHAT YOU SEEK! Isn't being a top 10 program enough?
I remember many years ago in high school where we had a history teacher has a Coach and our school had lost 68 games. We were the worst in the state. I tried out for the team but realized football wasn't for me even though I loved the sport. I prayed and prayed and got tall over the summer. I decided to stay on the team as an equipment manager and believe me I learned alot about football. We won our first game on television, and it was awesome. We had a Coach that had us believing that we could defeat anybody. I remember when we were going to play Warren County High School in the rain on their field. Our coach said: "We are coming!" Unfortunately, their coach decided that they didn't want to take that chance, so they cancelled the game. Unfortunately, we had to forfeit the game. Our coach wasn't scared and the next year we played a team in Benson, on their homecoming and mule day. We went down there and defeated them and we were expected to lose. Their coach cussed his players out after the game and was so embarrassed that they not only lost to a program that hadn't never had any success, but they lost on their homecoming. We had some push back when we went to the restaurants like we normally do when we go out of down. It was interesting to say the least because these people really couldn't believe that these black kids from this little, small town came and upset their great program. It was a night to remember. We didn't brag about what happened because our Coach didn't believe in that type of behavior. He wasn't like Coach Sanders, but he was a God-fearing man, and he demanded respect. He made a believer out of all of us. He was a white coach by the way, but we he told us that to lift our heads up and that world is not going to give us anything. We must go get what we want out of life.
The Ol' Deion Backlash, was inevitable. The coaches want to teach Deion PAIN. Next year Deion will understand that his baptism under fire was a painful but necessary experience for Colorado to go through to build up tough skin, scars and determination. Lot more hate out there than love for Deion. Low profile, is not an option for Deion. He needs to load up talent for next year after he takes his lumps this year.
the problem is he can't have all the talent, and all the talent isn't going to Colorado. then you have to coach the talent, and there are great coaches all over the country, and Prime isn't one of em. The best coach on his staff, the OC, will probably be gone next year too.

I must say that Dan Lanning did not beat the Buffs, instead, it was the Oregon football players who were all there before his arrival who beat the Buffs on the Buffs worst day, and the Daffy Ducks best day..
The problem is, that isn't just the buffs having a bad day. In their current state, USC could do the exact same thing to Colorado next week. Colorado looked the way they did because they were absolutely dominated up front on both sides of the ball. Not a bad day, on any day they would get dominated by that Oregon front line.
@@princeofgreece9054 Not Really, in that on a Buffs good day with the O-Line protecting Shadeur for a few more seconds while he decides where and when to throw the ball, and when the D-Line can come crushing thru and attack QB's like Bo Nix before he can decide where to throw the ball, the whole game would be turned around in the Buffs favor..🙂
Deion saying he keeps receipts for coaches motivating their players during pre-game speeches sounds incredibly petty given his experience as a player and now coach. If he wants us to believe that he hasn't tried to get his players worked up by making similar comparisons highlights some of the reasons why a number of other coaches and schools are taking these shots at him. There was also some footage captured of a CU player scuffing up the Oregon logo during a walk around so that likely also contributed to the feeling that the CU players (as an extension of their coaching staff) disrespect their opponents. It doesn't really matter because Rich is right on this one, regardless of the documentary, whatever losses CU takes, this isn't about this year it's about getting better players in the years to come and play for Deion. Be it at Colorado or elsewhere, should he leave.
Imagine all the top recruits and potential portal transfers watching that team thinking they can fill the holes Colorado still has. Heck if they get five wins, it's a great improvement. I look for them to have a big off season and become a "compete with the big Dawgs" type of team next year.
Lol you're so delusional I shouldn't be laughing. This team hasn't proven anything...not a single thing. They played soft opponents in the first 3 weeks and you beat them. Congratulations, I guess. Now you're telling me that recruits are going to be flocking to Colorado after Colorado was absolutely humiliated this past weekend by Oregon? I hope you realize that this team will be humiliated a few more times later this year, similar to the beating they took from Oregon. Why would a recruit all of a sudden go to Colorado when there's clearly a talent gap? If I'm a recruit, why would I take chances on going to Colorado, who is in a complete rebuild mode, rather than taking my talents to schools like GA, USC, FSU, OSU, Michigan, etc. who have a track record of developing talent and competing on the biggest stage? Besides, coach Prime doesn't have the resume of developing talent - not yet at least.
Be very clear: the network asked Oregon if they could bring a mic and camera into the locker room. Landing jumped on it and immediately began crafting a line that would get everyone’s attention…..so he played the game very well and got more clicks, which is exactly what he wanted the entire time. He is sick and tired of seeing ALLLLLL the attention of the entire sports world go to one of his rivals, a team far beneath them.
Oregon doesn't get the national attention it deserves. Yes, we're out here in Oregon, not a major TV market, but we're for real. The hype train ended Saturday. This is not a popularity contest. This is real football. No offense to Deion, hehas a great resume and has Colorado on the right track. Give Dan Laning and the Ducks their due.
Having Warren Sapp next year to coach the DLine is going to be such a god damned difference maker that I can't WAIT to see what the future has in store. Just the first chapter
Every 5 star DL is going to break that CU door down to play for Prime and Sapp. Two seasons from now its going to be a strength of the team not weakness
Oregon made CU their superbowl, and that's hilarious to me. Going for it on 4th downs, fake punts, trick plays, and leaving the 1st team out there in the 2nd half trying to ring out every point they could getting their stars injured in a blow out. That's amazing to me. 😂😂😂 Dan Lannings ego is worse than Deions.
Coach Prime had no problem with Oregon's coach's speech either. Coach Prime shows his Christian spirit at all times. We know God is still in charge. Neither do I as a Colorado Buff fan! Go Buffs!
How Christian of him to not bench Shadeur for poking a guys eyes intentionally in the previous game. His piety is situational and for the cameras. That said he’s not worse than most coaches. Just louder and pisses white people off especially.

To me Coach Lanning was just getting his team fired up. I didn't see the issue in what he said. Good on him for that. The fact people thought they had a chance against Oregon shows how brainwashed people get by the hype train. Anyone who knows anything about college football knew this was gonna be a massacre. There are levels to this. They beat a TCU team in an impressive performance. Then they beat two horrible teams, and one of them took 2 overtimes. That’s just the reality. Utah, Washington state, usc, ucla, are real football teams. Colorado state was the 100 something ranked team in the nation and people acted like they won the natty after they barely beat them. This will ultimately be a successful season but the hype train has deluded people into thinking this team is a lot better than they are.
Oh yes they believed. Don't let them turn the tables now and say "who really thought they were going undefeated?!" Yes they did, they also think the QB is Heisman material this year and a first overall NFL draft pick. That's all we been hearing for a month now. So glad Oregon showed no mercy.

Throwing the Heisman name around after the second CU game was too much. I have never heard of a coach make that kind of prediction so early in the college football season.

That wasn’t about clicks, Lannings moment was a Mic Drop. How often do you hear Dan Lanning trying to get a media frenzy going like deion--ZERO! That’s why it’s not about the clicks…
Exactly Rich - the Deon “clicks” is all about attracting talented kids who want to play under the lights. Guys who can have Deon help them get to the NFL. This isn’t a secret.
I can’t wait to see what kind of recruiting class Deion is going to put together for next year, gonna be insane. I was expecting it to take at least 3 years before CU was in the talks for National Champs, but after this year I think he might do something special and Colorado will be top 5 next year.
My question is that with all the players he transferred in, why wasn't he able to come up with at least a somewhat decent O-line and D-line? Also, if Colorado has a subpar season at or under 500, will Deion's status be enough to convince recruits to go to CU over teams that beat you by 30+? I know it worked this year, but will it work again after the season is over? Going 500 is a good accomplishment considering, but would it be enough? I guess we will see?
Coach Prime said they better get him now because he will overhaul that O-Line and D-Line this off-season with the portal and these other coaches know it. Coach Prime will have a top five squad in the next 2 years mark my words.
Sounds like a great university to go to where the Coach can overhaul and toss out his players season to season. I would never want to play for that kind of organization.
The press is making this into a huge deal. ESPN is making it into a huge deal. It was ONE game. Coach Sanders has led his team and his players to more wins than they've had in recent memory, and he has brought excitement to Colorado and to a program that needed help. I like Rich Eisen, but this is just one game. The press likely won't be doing videos like this about every other college football loss out there. I think they've put so much hype on Deion and Colorado that now they need to continue to make this as big of a loss as the past three wins were. And I get that Coach Sanders and his media team have brought a lot of attention to the program. But he never said his team was undefeatable. He's trying to help them be great men on and off the field. I think he means that when he says it. He wants to help his players to be role models to others, not to look to him as a role model. I applaud his efforts, win or lose. Just my $0.02. Cheers.
Love the show Rich, first timer I will be back, I am a Duck Fan but really like Coach Prime, hard to believe that he's 20 years older than Coach Lanning it seem it should be the other way around, anyway great analysis, great show.
Let's see this game two seasons from now. Fact is the rookie coach is still beating expectations and with the transfers that are going to come as well as the gelling that this newly assembled team is getting, you better get him right now.
The Media put a target on Deion’s back. If everyone including Deion had just been chill about it Colorado could have a better season. This won’t be the last time they get beat like this.
Deion literally won 1 game and proceeded to jab a reporter with, "Do you believe now? Do you believe now?" That's what the "Playing for clicks" line is all about. If Lanning's speech seemed somewhat personal, it's because it was. Deion placed a target on his team's backs that absolutely should not be there. No apologies for him, his players, or Colorado fans. Take ya lumps and keep talking. Don't you dare quit talking.
Bro they won a game that all those reporters fully expected and predicted they would lose, and the reporter he was “jabbing” was the reporter who doubted them and said they’d lose, Dan Lannings comments were pure jealously and envy because CU is in the spotlight the target is there because they’re “too confident” “too flashy” “too talked about” point blank period
@@pittsburghguy2520 Not too confident. Too cocky. Too arrogant. Point blank period. They won 1 game and the Head Coach took a lap with the media, knowing full well how that would play out. Lots and lots of clicks

Lannining sealed hus fate with his envy laced, vitriolic speech. That team will not be successful in the end. In fact, you can see the offense became very pedestrian after the running back was carted off the field. Lanning is a NATURAL hater and can't get beyond his own insecurities to see and celebrate the blessings GOD is bestowing upon others.
When Lanning said, " You talk with your helmet ! ," He might as well have said, " THIS IS SPARTA." !!!LOL
But Rich, for 3 weeks you never said Colorado was probably going to get crushed when they eventually play a top team like Oregon.
He on deio payroll.
I'm pretty sure he did. Checking the receipts.

Naw it ain't a curse they got beat bad that's all in the game ,it's OK it can't go no way but 👆
Colorado had DL the size of big SEC LB's and their LB's were the size of SEC DB's.

Just need another recruiting cycle to compete consistently with top 10 teams.
lmao Deion is gonna leave Colorado he does enough to get to a bigger college
Actually I think ESPN asked and he said yes. Either way yeah he knew what he was doing, and I have no problem with it. I will say this, Deion says he keeps receipts, and I have no problem with that either. Just that its not unique, every coach pretty much keeps receipts. Colorado is coming, just not there yet. That to my mind is the whole story, and its not that much of one, but wow doesn't it get all over the media.
Exactly he still agreed to have it aired pimping himself too and it's business and who cares
Colorados next “recruiting” cycle is ranked 75th
Oregon has like 30 alternate uniforms, has cleats that change colors, that is for clicks, nothing wrong with it but just hypocritical. Phil Knight made Nike a empire by knowing how to get clicks and he is Oregons biggest funder.
That’s how you motivate your troops. We must never lose that intensity
Your “troops” will face annihilation in the near future.
LOVED THE SPEECH. That's how Dan is, casuals don't understand he is genuinely fired up and passionate as a coach.
In my opinion you have a very professional show/presentation and it is enjoyable
Why are people afraid to say he got out coached and his son got out played? It’s ok it happens to everyone.
because it goes against their narrative
No one cares.. Coach Prime averages 9 million weekly viewers.. He will continue to be the topic of discussion as long as he continue to dominate weekly viewership
He will be forgotten after USC smacks him. If Deon doesn't run to another team or to the nfl, then he'll be a mid level coach for eternity.
😂. @@richardcelino9173Truth and people are acting like Colorado's the innocent one here.
He said you better get ME right now. That’s the problem I think people have. It’s the Deion show and it runs people the wrong way.
Oregon has a great team. They can win at all. No shame losing to them.
Ducks lost to Georgia last year 49-3 & likely will again..
Texas Tech is 1-3 and lost to Oregon 38-30. Oregon is a good team but this is more about how bad Colorado was
@steveandersen996
Your point conflicts with itself a little.

Lanning saying "not for clicks" while simultaneously letting the media in the locker room for his speech is ironic. As is him saying "not rooted in flash" while coaching oregon (who has had a different uniform combo for 10 years straight) is also hilariously ironic.
Exactly. Lanning was just trying to fire up his team, but on the outside it is hilariously ironic of Oregon of all teams to be talking about flash lol

One coach 100% focused on his whole team & playing football.

Not one working on Fashion endorsements, clothing lines and BS.
Their job is to COACH during the season.
Then to allow and import distractions from all over the country to roam your sidelines, drunk and stoned during the game, also serves ZERO purpose other than to distract and take mental attention away from your team. (I’m not sure how having major celebrities actors rappers, etc. roaming around the sideline is supposed to help a team WIN?)
None of it seems smart to me.

@trevorgarrett7602 Well said! This right here folks -

Amen!
Just keep being YOU Rich. You are unique and loved. ❤
They'll be facing completely different teams next year.

Good stuff. Love your perspective.

The problem is, that isn't just the buffs having a bad day. In their current state, USC could do the exact same thing to Colorado next week. Essentially telling your offensive and defensive lines players will be cut at the end of season is a horrible motivation tactic in week 4.
I appreciate you and the whole broadcast team.
Imagine all the top recruits and potential portal transfers watching that team thinking they can fill the holes Colorado still has. Heck if they get five wins, it's a great improvement. I look for them to have a big off season and become a "compete with the big Dawgs" type of team next year.
That's exactly how recruiting works that's why it's hard to stay on top and I'm a Georgia Bulldogs fan.

You are the best ! You speak FACTS 🙏💗
RICH IS A GENIUS
Having Warren Sapp next year to coach the DLine is going to be such a god damned difference maker that I can't WAIT to see what the future has in store. Just the first chapter
UC legal department better be ready for a scandal with Sapp on campus. Trouble follows that dude.

Warren sapp will be arrested for SA before the end of the season.
Dan Lannings ego is worse than Deions.
Wow, a coach that does what it takes to win? He must be the only one smh.
Surely you said the same thing when Colorado stormed the field after getting sent to double overtime by a team they were favored over by 25
Coach Prime had no problem with Oregon's coach's speech either. Coach Prime shows his Christian spirit at all times. We know God is still in charge. Neither do I as a Colorado Buff fan! Go Buffs!
You live in a world of mythological fiction. lol 😂 Babies aren’t made by ghosts.
Wtf does God care about football games? Also, his Christian spirit got him with multiple baby mommas, so gtfo with that "Godly man" bull-jive
How Christian of him to not bench Shadeur for poking a guys eyes intentionally in the previous game. His piety is situational and for the cameras. That said he’s not worse than most coaches. Just louder and pisses white people off especially.
"Mythological fiction" Talk about redundant.
@@bobloblaw2958 fiction can be based on anything, not just mythological characters.
The book you believe in is fictional, and based on mythology.
Nothing redundant at all. Put down the one book you read and try to improve your comprehension.
To me Coach Lanning was just getting his team fired up. I didn't see the issue in what he said. Good on him for that. Although truthfully, every team wants clicks to get attention and help improve their teams. One thing that I felt some force of is the amount of jealousy going on toward Colorado. Lurking and waiting for them to lose and to insult every fan that was hopeful that they would win. It's wild how toxic people are around this. Welcome to the internet, where everyone pretends to be an expert at everything.

I am an alum and kind of surprised and a bit disturbed at all the bandwagon jumpers. It's become a cult, every comment that questions Prime gets labeled a hater.
I thought they had a chance against Oregon although slim. But so far I do see a lot of hype. the recruiting class is currently ranked 73 and 75, not exactly stellar and on par with the worst in Colorado history if it stays the same. Love Prime but he hasn't proven anything at my alma mater, yet.
Throwing the Heisman name around after the second CU game was too much. I have never heard of a coach make that kind of prediction so early in the college football season.
Everybody forgetting that there new to each other and also new to the city. Colorado seems very welcoming. Good vibes
I shud have said this before Riich, we here in the Caribbean appreciate u and ur team..... u the best show!!!
No one had a problem when deion was blowing out teams when he was at JSU, but he had a problem when he got boat raced
If you looked at his press conference he didn't have a problem with it. He said they got their but kicked.
I didn't say deion had a problem....his fans do
@@tonymac924 oh okay
This is the worst we gonna be, with my 2 kids on the team. Lol! Thanks Dad.

Deion is dumping all over certain players... I've never seen a coach do that in my life. It's disgusting. He recruited nearly 70 new players and now he's dumping on many of them?? Develop them COACH. Deion is a malignant narcissist. This experiment won't end well.
Colorado was the only reason I saw Oregon play this weekend. I know who CU plays on Saturday, who does Oregon play? IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO OREGON PLAYS!!
Facts 💯
Oh, it matters. Colorado is not in the playoff and title conversations, but Oregon is.
@@mathewfullerton8577 Most of us are only watching PAC12 football because of CU. The only other team most folks east of the rockies care about is USC. Oregon will be irrelevant until (if???) they make it to the playoffs, even then people will talk about them wondering which SEC, ACC or BIG10 school will roll them on their way to a Championship. Enjoy the ride! Quack, quack!
At least you admit you have zero college football knowledge.

Hey, we appreciate you.
"Don't believe the hype!"...Chuck D was correct.
I wonder how Deion talked about this and also spoke in the third person. Must’ve been a challenge
Oregon curb stomped Colorado into reality 👌
Oregon played in the highest rated game they will play in this year. Congrats on winning their Superb Owl! 🎉
@@quiden75 Clicks over wins? Remember when colorado stormed the field and acted like they won the super bowl after getting sent to double overtime by one of the worst teams in the FBS last week that they were favored over by 25 points?
@@RB-.- Clearly you have no idea what their previous season of play was like. They had exactly 1 win last year. One. Not a lot of field storming then. Plus, who cares what fans do. The fans storm the field on EVERY win in Colorado.
That wasn’t about clicks, Lannings moment was a Mic Drop. How often do you hear Dan Lanning trying to get a media frenzy going like deion--ZERO! That’s why it’s not about the clicks…
Well said.
Rocky always got clobbered a few times before getting off the canvas and winning it all.
I was expecting it to take at least 3 years before CU was in the talks for National Champs, but after this year I think he might do something special and Colorado will be top 5 next year.
lmao at this level of cope
My question is that with all the players he transferred in, why wasn't he able to come up with at least a somewhat decent O-line and D-line? Also, if Colorado has a subpar season at or under 500, will Deion's status be enough to convince recruits to go to CU over teams that beat you by 30+? I know it worked this year, but will it work again after the season is over? Going 500 is a good accomplishment considering, but would it be enough? I guess we will see?
Yes the recruits are coming regardless
@@eomyenom1 we will see.
And incoming recruits will know if he’s going to replace someone for them, he might replace them the next year too.

Coach Prime said they better get him now because he will overhaul that O-Line and D-Line this off-season with the portal and these other coaches know it. Coach Prime will have a top five squad in the next 2 years mark my words.
He got lineman from the portal this year....average size d line 270 average o line 273 but they were small........excusessss
Sounds like a great university to go to where the Coach can overhaul and toss out his players season to season. I would never want to play for that kind of organization.
@@trevorgarrett76021-11 last year….they had to go.
Right on sir!!
Dan Lanning sounds like coach 30 in his pre game speech.
This can turn into act 1 of the next year come back story, sure. But this game was a hard lesson that CU needed regardless of the future.
Lanning convinced his players that Oregon was the 21-point underdog, not Colorado, Even got ME fired up!
The media treated Oregon like they were underdogs
Cheers.
Oregon good luck after your bye week 😂😂
Love the show Rich, first timer I will be back, I am a Duck Fan but really like Coach Prime, hard to believe that he's 20 years older than Coach Lanning it seem it should be the other way around, anyway great analysis, great show.
I like your show i will be watching this show from know on
Commentators are reading too far into Coach Lanning's pregame speech. Guys was using what he could to get his team ready to play.
@@pittsburghguy2520 I understand we have to paint Dan Lan is something since Prime is involved. I am just glad it's jealousy and not the dreaded R word. It's a welcomed change.
@@grantviviano4615 they aren’t cocky or arrogant you just don’t want them to see themselves highly or believe in themselves, they didn’t ask for all the attention the attention came to them and you’re offended by it, ever considered maybe you have your own insecurities?
@@grantviviano4615 they won one game that they were expected to get destroyed in and Deion addressed one reporter other than that Deion is Deion, it sounds like you just don’t like Deion sanders lol
Actually the game will help CU's recruitment because you'll get recruits who saw the outcome and will want CP and CU to win...there's only one Prime.
We don’t know that? We have no idea how this gonna play out. More wins, more losses, too much on these young men, do people wanna knock ‘em out vs join? We don’t know how this plays out yet
"The clicks aren't about him, they're about an Amazon show called Prime"
I think you slightly missed the point there
Lannining sealed hus fate with his envy laced, vitriolic speech. That team will not be successful in the end. In fact, you can see the offense became very pedestrian after the running back was carted off the field. Lanning is a NATURAL hater and can't get beyond his own insecurities to see and celebrate the blessings GOD is bestowing upon others.
