Lamar and the Ravens would have a Super Bowl by now had Roman been let go years ago. They wasted this once in a hundred years gift of a football player. If only Harbaugh would have had the discernment to let Roman go three to four or more years ago
The one thing he needs to overcome or "prove" to the doubters is Lamar's playoff past. It's a high and tough bar, but he's got to get to the big dance. With the Chief playing "just enough" to win, and they've won all their games, this might be the year the Ravens can do it.
I disagree with the two-point conversion at the end. We'd been "aggressive" in the play calling all game. Cost us 3-points early on by not going for a field goal in Evan's range. Throwing two bombs on 3rd and 2 and 4th and 2. At some point you should do the safe thing. I'd take the odds over the coin toss over the odds of a single play in goal-to-go (which we struggled against all game; it took a pass interference on a Failed 4th down play to give us an extra shot at a TD earlier). I like being aggressive, but not Every time the "aggressive vs. safe" situations arise.

The ravens won that game, even if they made the two on the second attempt the ravens surely would have gotten in field goal position cause they couldn’t stop them.
It's not horseshit. There was multiple face mask grabs and defensive pass interference, and the refs did NOT call them. That should have been automatic first down. Thats horrible and embarrassing that officials are watching the play and can't see obvious penalties in front of them.

The Ravens aren't going to win against top teams with that secondary. A good quarterback and a couple of good receivers will slice and dice them all day long. As far as the MVP talk goes, I understand the Bengals record is bad, but just how much worse would it be without Burrow? His value to his team is beyond incredible.
I do not disagree. When the QB is playing well & keeping the team in games losses shouldn't be held against him. However... they were when Lamar was in that situation. The usual argument being "the QB is the leader in the field, it's not enough for them to simply play well, losses are always going to be blamed on the QB" Folk used that talk to excuse why "no team wanted him" & he wasn't worth what he was asking (even though no one knew what he was asking) during his contract negotiations. Yet... Burrow & Herbert (who's done even less) I hear it shouldn't be blamed... but Lamar always gets blamed. It's an honor to watch both ball out. It's sad to see the difference in how both are spoken of.
Brockman brought up a very under rated issue.... Tucker has been OFF all Year. Ohh and Rich who can beat the Ravens.... well the Chiefs already did it. Also who else can do that Run ... Ummm Mahomes does it ALL the time... I'd say jackson STOLE that move from Mahomes.
I have never been a Lamar fan and sure don't believe he deserved the MVP last year. The first one I could understand, not last year though. This year however, he is playing some of the best football I have ever seen played at the QB position. He can just will his team to a win. I don't know how they've lost 3 games. Definitely the favorites to win the super bowl.
Man stop crying about penalties…the ravens were penalized more than any other team and it’s not close. Lamar always gets hit late and the Cincy defense holds and don’t get called. The Bengals blew it.

@anthonyanderson9303 Just putting the numbers out there. Neither defense was stopping either offense and both teams had the same chance of winning the OT flip... 50% ..51% and 41% are still better odds than 30% in my book.
@@JamesKennedy-t9h I'll take one play from 2 yards away against the worst defense in the league over relying on a coin toss, analytics be darned. The strength of the Bengals team is their offense.
Lamar deserves MVP, Goff will get it...politics.
first CIN TD was on a BS call from the refs. The no calls at the end evened it up
Bruh. Ravens had 11 flags. Bengals had 3. Bengals fans can go sit their salty butts down
@@LuCifer-f3xand each of the flags were fuckin legit, sit down lil boy
I’m not even a bengals fan but this is all cap. 3 missed face masks and missed defensive holding? Botch job
@@matthughes1332right. The ravens earned all of those flags
@@ThePowerOfOneThePowerOfTworavens earned a W too
Rich.. you could describe that game as the Greatest Offensive showcase ever or or or you could call it what it really was... TWO of the WORST DEFENSES maybe EVER. I'll say this as a Chiefs fan... neither of those Teams scares me. The Chiefs Defense might not shut everything down... but it would NEVER allow that and HOW is that Defense ever gonna stop the Chiefs ?
Refs ruin another game in the name of narrative marketing.
People complaining about burrow getting his mask hit just forget about the 11 penalties the ravens had? 11 to 3 on the bengals. It aint the refs fault yall blew a multi td lead lol cry More
Why do the fans get cheated by the refs at the end? Happened in the Commanders/Bears game, too. Just call the penalties.
Who do you think is the QB burrow hates the most? Jackson or Mahomes'?
The Ravens aren't going to win against top teams with that secondary. A good quarterback and a couple of good receivers will slice and dice them all day long. The Bengals have written a script for the rest of the league to follow. It's like when the Eagles' defensive weakness was made clear last year.
Rich changes who he thinks is the MVP on a daily basis
The Bengals head coach and Joe Burrow loss that game. Your going for 2 points the call should be pass option run. Can anybody tell me why goofy 🤪 Joe Burrow didn’t run it in for 2? He had open lane left side to run and cross the football 🏈 over the goal line ( breaking the plain). We all witnessed Lamar Jackson do a pass option run for 2 points that gave them the lead. This also puzzles me with Geno Smith when he is in the red zone. D Henry if I’m not mistaken only rush for 65. When you ankle tackle a running back his yardage normally doesn’t go beyond 70 in any game.
As far as the MVP talk goes, I understand the Bengals record is bad, but just how much worse would it be without Burrow? His value to his team is beyond incredible.
Switch him and Lamar. The ravens are very comparable to Cincy. One is 7-3
I do not disagree. When the QB is playing well & keeping the team in games losses shouldn't be held against him. However... they were when Lamar was in that situation. The usual argument being "the QB is the leader in the field, it's not enough for them to simply play well, losses are always going to be blamed on the QB"
Folk used that talk to excuse why "no team wanted him" & he wasn't worth what he was asking (even though no one knew what he was asking) during his contract negotiations. Yet... Burrow & Herbert (who's done even less) I hear it shouldn't be blamed... but Lamar always gets blamed. It's an honor to watch both ball out. It's sad to see the difference in how both are spoken of.
They were a playoff caliber team last year without him. Daniel Jones could be a MVP candidate with Ja’Marr Chase and Higgins.
@@miwawilliams1339the picking and choosing is at an all time high.
L take bozo. The MVP can’t lose to the patriots
it's comical how people act like cincy is still a good team with that defense and how baltimore is still a good team with that defense.
I'm a Ravens fan. Our defense is a cause for concern. So much so I turned the game off when it was 21-7. After Chase ran for 70 yards. Crazy.
Ask Denver and buffalo how good the ravens are and then re-comment
@@thomastranum5858I asked the Raiders and Browns...
while it’s true baltimore has suspect defense, they’re still racking up wins against above .500 teams and their offense is damn near unstoppable.
And keep betting against and saying each game the pthet Qb is better and LJ will keep beating your favorite teams peace out
Brockman brought up a very under rated issue.... Tucker has been OFF all Year. Ohh and Rich who can beat the Ravens.... well the Chiefs already did it. Also who else can do that Run ... Ummm Mahomes does it ALL the time... I'd say jackson STOLE that move from Mahomes.
Ray Lewis probably went into the bathroom and vomited......... unbelievable.......
Who should have won it last year?
@@trueson5351Allen... and I'm not a Bills fan.
@@trueson5351 CMC. But the MVP is a QB award.
They lost 3 games because their pass defense is far and away the worst in the league
Kyler Murray can make that play no doubt
Man stop crying about penalties…the ravens were penalized more than any other team and it’s not close. Lamar always gets hit late and the Cincy defense holds and don’t get called. The Bengals blew it.
Refs blew it
Bad officiating come on Rich! Two face masks on Bro not called! Baltimore was tackling the receivers before the ball was even touched by them… Make sure not want to watch football! And these guys aren’t even my teams just hoping for some decent officiating this season.
Cry me a river
You are biased so your opinion doesn't count.@@ravens4720
That’s all you notice ?
On the same play everybody crying about Jamar chase grabbed somebody facemask, they gesicki did not get that 1st down he didn’t even catch the ball and harbaugh the only one said anything about it. The media not speaking on it and I know everybody seen it.
Shame we can't have a game untainted by refs.
4 ravens penalties on one play and no call on any of them, this was the classic refs ruined the game ,get real bro lol
Did the ravens need Dontae?
