  • We visit Artists Drive, the most popular scenic drive in Death Valley National Park. It is located South of Furnace Creek and North of Badwater Basin on Badwater Road. The drive is 9 miles long on a twisty, dippy road not suitable for vehicles over 25'. We stop at the famous Artists Pallette to take in the view.

I am in awe about what you are doing. It's fantastic!
I have been wanting to plan a round-road-trip from Southern to Northern CA. I am a AAA member and can't make heads or tails out of their app. Whenever someone tells me to download their app, I'm like, "No!" because I am completely inept at using a cell phone for anything other than calling, messaging, directory assistance, and directions.
I'd like to drive up to Sacramento or farther, see sites - including lesser known - along the way, and either drive back a different way or fly back down, BUT...I have no ability to plan for this and need a travel agent to do everything for me, if there were such a thing for a road trip.

Take minor risks you are comfortable with to expand your horizons. There are always rewards when you push your limits, but be sure to stay safe and don’t push beyond mildly uncomfortable.
