This 55 inch 4k TCL TV also known as TCL Iffalcon TV has started blinking and flickering in under 2 years of use. There is no support from TCL for this issue.
No software fix or settings change resolves this.

I'll add my voice to the chorus. Had this TV two or three years and then this flickering started happening. There are youtube vids about "flickering" but they look different than what mine is doing. This is exactly what mine is doing -- on the right side, a slight but very noticeable dimming regardless of input (if you look closely, you can see grid lines appear). too bad, i guess the low price comes with a hidden cost.

Did you get it resolved ? TCL said the cost is 90% of TV price. I contacted a local technician he said it is issue of backlight only.... And it can be change for INR 5 to 10k..

Bought my 55" Series 6 in November 2018. A couple of weeks ago it started showing the same behavior. At first I thought it was trying to switch from HDR to none HDR and having issues doing it, but it seems I'm just one of the bunch of unsupported people with the same issue. This is really frustrating... I was about to purchase a 65" from them, better not do it unless there's proper support for this issue.

There is no pocket friendly fix found yet. Only fix is to replace the full panel which is very expensive.

I am facing the same issue. I have 3 years warranty but not able to find the bill as it was gifted to me by someone and that person has lost it. What do I do?
Report it to customer care. If you bought the tv online you can get a copy of the bill from there. If you got it from a store, the store as well cam provide copy of the bill.

Just purchased this Tv i noticed the screen flickers and half right side almost exact as the right side flickering on your screen on mine is slightly dark is noticeable on dark colors should i return it its been 2 days!!! 😬

Exact same issue with TLC 55P65US. Support is easy to contact in the Philippines but I am wondering if it is worth spending the equivalent of 20USD to have the technician telling me that it will cost the price of a new TV.

@@RadnusTechnology thanks for the tip. It seems that it is the way to fix this issue. I have tried at the time and with different pins. It didn't work work, but I might have not done it correctly. I have sent my TV for repair. The flickering was fixed but came back with a different screen issue. It is difficult to find competent repairs guys in the Philippines
Mera 55p8 tv hai abhi under warranty hai...usme bhi same right side screen flickering issue hai...but tcl technician ne moisture jamne ka jhootha reason dete huye bola ki company moisture problem me warranty cover nahi krti so...panel change hoga aur tv ki 90% cost lagegi... I'm tooo frustrated and disappointed with tcl service...i think ham sab ko saath mil kar iska solution comany se maangna hi chahiye... it's very big scam with customers.😡😡😡😡
The tcl 55c745 started to produce red pixels after half a day but only with an external device connected to hdmi.
It did it on all hdmi ports with pc and ps4.
If I switched to tv or netflix or just the menu the fake red pixels disappeared and showed what it should.
it seems this brand is not so cheap anymore, but still junk.

I had the same issue yesterday.
It is an issue on the ribbon signal. Pins 12-13.
Solition is to open the back of the TV and find that ribbon. Tape pins 12-13.

Home 5 times up 1 time rewind 2 times fast forward 2 times the tv is gonna close and begin again hopefully without any flicker whatsoever,btw this happens to a friend I have one to but so far no problem

There is no software fix, hardware needs to be replaced and the price that TCL service is quoting for it is as high as the tv itself.

Guys i had a tcl tv which had problem with screen it bacme drak on left side corner then after few days completly blank so it was on warrenty period so i kept on givng calles and complents and they had very bad responce on my sitution and i kept on gvg complaints even a court notice i had to conselt a lawyer wasted lot of money then after 6 months they gave me a tv old amd bent i refuse to take it which was returned back to them then agin they gave me other tv now this tv is flikering guys think geting a tv replaced and it also gets fliketingmproblem these guys are making worst low quality tvs better do not buy this brand service is worst they dont even bother about your complaints worst coustemer care i am fed up i feel sorry for others who bought these tvs mine was also 55 inch tv
