Nice thing about being from Minnesota is that no matter where I move the weather is BETTER. You get 54” of snow and we get 54” and your winter temps are balmy.
Ya they kind of always seem to leave out both Lake an Geauga County... Both (Most the time) are added to the metro of Cleveland when your looking at housing market, job growth ect. They left thos out but kept in the Westside metros for a reason when it comes to weather lol.. 67in an 80in's of reason along with the chiller temps year round an faster wind speeds (chill factor) makes Cleveland life look worst when keeping things apples to apples XD. Just pluck out the "snow belt" parts for this one lol. An i do not mean LINO is doing it, It is just how it is idk. Seem the same thing with crime just with the south and south west metro areas..
I've been active in AA for years.. I've been to Akron several times! it's kinda like mecca for AA. all the places you read about in the big book are there! the Mayflower hotel, cottage gatehouse, dr Bob's house, and there's intergroup and the archive!
Another great video! Thanks so much. We are excited to move back home to NE Ohio from Florida soon. Your videos are helping us decide where we should start looking. Extremely helpful and fun to watch. Thanks man.
I grew up in Norton/Barberton, but worked a lot as a traveling Pharmacist in Cleveland and Akron has the same vibe going on at a smaller scale. Cleveland has the Museums.
hey for your information for 5 bucks each way you can get a metro regional transit bus from downtown akron to the VA hospital and downtown cleveland plus cleveland bus fare leave you car at the transit center or park & ride on cleveland massillon rd by summit mall total cost is about $15 A DAY
Bills fans are clearly the most rabid fan base and loyal in the NFL and really in all 4 sports. As far as Cleveland, it's a much bigger city. Akron might feel easier to feel at home and get around. Not much comparison though. Plus the jobs... Kind of have to go where you get one. Been to Ohio City and the Flats. Had a nice time. Went to Cuyahoga Falls and also had a nice time. Good video though. Probably find a nice place in either city. Depends on what you want.
@@pareshsolanki929 think it depends on what you're looking for. check out the 401 lofts, cascade Village, Seven Stories West Apartments,, The 797 Building. Unfortunately, I do not work with apartment complexes but these are pretty good apartments. You have a ton of options in Akron.
That's because Akron politicians are so busy trying to create a Canton Akron metroplex which is laughable claiming they don't want to lose they're identity being lumped into Greater Cleveland which again is laughable Cleveland is and will always be Ohio's superstar city
@@livinginnortheastohio8643 It's a mind set thing. Plus I'm not fond of having so many people around. If I thought I could financially move out of Akron to a rural area I would just for that reason.
Akron is a lot closer to just getting out and seeing the rest of Ohio's rural side as opposed to Cleveland's Cultural stance. Two really cool places that go well together. Like peanut butter and jelly.
Seriously this this one doesn't make any sense Cleveland is 5 of Akron How can you compare it's pair a fast City to a small area doesn't make sense You might as well compare a New York to Dayton Ohio

Sweet! Thanks for watching. When are you planning on moving back up here?! Can’t wait to help 😁👍🏼
As a former Clevelander, I admit to not even considering the possibility of living in Akron.
I grew up in Norton/Barberton, but worked a lot as a traveling Pharmacist in Cleveland and Akron has the same vibe going on at a smaller scale. Cleveland has the Museums.
It's not Akron University (University of Akron) 😊
Thanks John. Sometimes slang gets the best of me 😬
Same difference
True Akronites call it "Akron U" no one from Akron calls it "The University of Akron"..
We call it Akron u tho
"The" University of akron
Love that you added your personable experiences!!
Thanks! That last story was a little extra 😂
Dick Butkus said "Akron has more pretty girls than any town its size I have ever been in."
People always put cle/Akron or Akron/Canton and I feel like none of them are really that similar. Minus the location and in the rust belt.
agreed. Cleveland Trumps Akron/Canton.
Nice video 👍🏽 which city has more construction ? Which city is best for house flipping in your opinion ? Thanks !

There's no comparison between these two you better off matching Akron with Canton Toledo Dayton Gary indiana or flint michigan

Best place in Akron for outdoor enthusiasts? Running hiking Thanks. Awesome videos.
Definitely the Goodyear heights park and trail. Cuyahoga falls has a few good trails too (gorge trail)
Are there any good apartments around that area

There's so much overlap between the two metros that it should just be one area now...similar to Dallas-Fort Worth.
I can agree. its very confusing on which city belong with with metro area. A lot of times it feels like it's left up to interpretation.
