      @@ADVDad-hw9ls almost 14K miles on my Missions on a 1250 GSA now. I think I will get 15-16K miles out of them. Interested to see how the Raid’s last, being a bit more aggressive. I commute daily on my bike though so I mainly stay on the pavement, but I need tires to last as well.

      The same here. I took the raid last weekend through some aggressive off-road, and they done better than the mission, but I don't think I will get 14k miles like the mission.

    You definitely wont get the same milage out of the Raids as you did with the Missions!

      That means I will go back to the trailmax mission.
      Did you try some other set that you think is worth the money?

    Awesome tire, but I’m a big fan of the Shenko 805 rear and 804 front. I only get about 6-7000 miles a rear but plenty of traction off-road. I am on a wait list for the Tusk 2track I’m wanting to try.

      Thank you. I need try that sometimes. I heard you fet a better traction having I different tires.

      @@ADVDad-hw9ls I ride a good 50/50 so the 805 works well.

    How much do you ride street \ dirt? 50/ 50? 80/ 20? 🤘🏼

    • @ADVDad-hw9ls
      @ADVDad-hw9ls  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @crank218 Most of my ride is commuting to work.
      In the riding season from April to October, we do a lot a gravel roads and dirt in the weekends.
      I will say 80% street and 20% off road

    Methinks you need to change your riding style, you're squaring your tyres off, hence the edge rips. You will also get more mileage with more 'shoulder' use, ride more winding roads when on tarmac.

    • @ADVDad-hw9ls

      I commute with bike 90% of the time. I ride mostly in highways and interstate, even in the riding season. I have to go several miles before I get to the fun stuff. Thanks for the observation, and have a great day

      Then you definately don't need the Raid's, even Mitas E07 or Heidenau 60 Scouts would be better for longevity as you obviously require a 60/40, max 50/50 and not a 'nobbly' for the routes you're using.

      I will see how many miles I can get with these. If I don't get that much, I will have to look for a different alternative.
      Maybe get a second bike. One for the dirt and one for the pavement.

      Likely true, but not always possible. For me, when I travel, there is the choice of straight roads, or different straight roads. Not everybody lives where the roads are windy.

    trailmax mission actually to me crap tires on wet. here in Benelux rains nonstop

    • @ADVDad-hw9ls
      @ADVDad-hw9ls  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, they are not very good on wet surfaces and mud, too.
      What I love about them that they last for a long time .

    14,000 miles? How? I got 5,500 miles from the TMMs.

    • @ADVDad-hw9ls
      @ADVDad-hw9ls  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ryanmalone2681 it depends where you ride and how hard you ride, and the climate, too.
      My job used to be like 10 minutes away from my house, and what I did 90% of my time is commuting.

    What psi are you using, and do you alter for sealed or dirt.

    • @ADVDad-hw9ls
      @ADVDad-hw9ls  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @stevemcmullen4100 I was using 38 in the rear and 32 in the front.
      In dirt, I leave the pressure as it is , it's a heavy bike, so there is no need to take the pressure off on dirt and done just fine.
      I'm using the DT Raid right now and perform better off-road than the mission . But I love them both
