From La Monnaie, Brussels, Haruko and Korneel bring you music for viola d'amore and double bass/violone by Ariosti, Sperger, Hoffmeister, Vanhal and many other composers.
The only duo of its kind in the world, they wish to share the unique colours these two instruments, both tuned to open chords, are able to produce.
Haruko and Korneel are also founding members of the ensemble "Per Questa Bella Mano". They play the classical Viennese repertoire with solo viennese violone, all on period instruments : Vanhal, Sperger, Mozart, Pichl, Hoffmeister etc.
