@@user-op6jy1zm8j Так двойная оцинковка. Хотя у меня такая же машина и у меня есть ржавчина на усилителях под передними крыльями. Ну и на кромках задних арок. Больше ржавчины нигде нет.
@@Retro_PCвсе авто цинкуются с завода, даже наши жигули, 4 вида оцинковки есть, наши самым бюджетным методом цинкуются, ну и самые дорогие авто тоже цинкуются, там дороже и устойчивее.

That car must have enormous sentimental value for somebody. Otherwise, numbers just don't add. I love old VWs, but that restoration would be waaay more expensive than the machine in all the countries I have lived.
Probably around 4k+ € for the body work and motor restoration alone, I dont even want to think how much for the new upholstery, tires, navi etc...
For a car that was worth 1500-2000 euros max... Weird.
But who decides it`s monetary worth? Money is literally being printed out of thin air. Working with cars and seeing how shittier the quality of the average new car is, I am seriously considering restoring mine.
Indeed, I mean, if you really like that particular machine you can totally restore it and keep it. I myself have a Golf MKIV in Spain. I have it from new and I used it in several races and during many, many years. It is in a garage waiting for a similar process. I was just thinking that this must be a similar case.
@@MrExcessum Well this is an Asian country, likely China, not Europe. Even here in the US those cars are somewhat rare, and in good condition can go 3-4k, in a place with cheaper labor and for a car with sentimental value, it's worth it

Congratulations for application the right things to recovered this VW Passat this is an example the great mechanic and simple system. Manual transmission 2.0L engine with single came shaft in the head, cross flow. The acceptable performance and comfort.This job are so much expensive in other countries but in China this is maybe is cheap. This is a good car the brand new paint and interior nice job and beautiful seats with good views. The team are congratulations for outstanding job and tank you for sharing! 🇧🇷

@@MadeloN764 На пятаках гидрокомпенсаторов была смазка для сборки двигателя. На столе с запчастями мелькнул набор прокладок. Смотрите внимательнее. Вот я не увидел, ремни и ролмки новые показали или нет.

In china the Passat B5 was build from 2002-2009 the Limited Edition was launch 2004 to celebrate 10th anniversary.

This is really funny to me. My parents bought a 2000 Passat B5 new from th le factory. We sold it two years ago for just 50€. It's crazy for me to think that this car is worth so much in another market that this whole restauration makes sense. And why open up the engine? Those 1.9 TDIs were absolutely bulletproof

now bring it to Eastern Europe... people are still buying these 20+.years old Passats as they were some super fancy executive car.... but you need swap PDTDI engine in it.. 997 out of 1000 are PDTDI/TDI here...then one 1.8t,.one vr5 and one vr6. . they're still importing them from Germany.. I have no idea how many left... I thought they don't exists there anymore.

Ten stary passat jest wart tyle, ile przeciętny telefon komórkowy.
Voiture fiable, sécuritaire, de haute qualité de fabrication et d’un design intemporel. Moteur increvable comme une coccinelle. Ce n’est plus le cas de nos jours.
