Was wondering if you guys use a drift sock when your anchored to keep boat straight? If so what size sock are you using?? My boat is a 21' Aluminum Starcraft CC with a 115 4 cyc Merc.Figure I would ask before buying one. Hope all is well & merry Christmas!!
Yes, I use them a lot while anchored. I typically use 2 (I believe they are 38") drift socks. I also have a giant set for when the flow is super slow. Happy New Year!!
Not to be "that guy" but be careful using cut game fish on the river. While it is 100% legal to use legally caught gamefish for bait, it is illegal to have cut game fish on the water. (Size is unverifiable) Fished a tourney last summer and the game commission was warning people that it was legal to use game fish, but if they cut them on the water, that made it illegal. In that specific instance, one of the guys had a couple whole dead trout in a bag. They were busting his chops about it, assuming he was going to cut them. Just worth a mention because I assume the fine would be pretty stiff......but yeah, bass and walleye are both banger baits lol.
I ended up having to have a heart transplant. I've been in the hospital for over 7 weeks. I have to finish physical therapy then should be able to return home.
