Beautiful finger picking. I'm really glad you accentuated the 5 note bass progression the whole way through. To me, it's the hallmark of this song. Well done!
Wonderful cover Nick. Excellent Travis-picking. I find it amazing that he wrote this when he was just sixteen. Another stellar performance my friend. 👍
Hello Nick. it is such a pleasure to listen to you ( I am so happy to know you, your channel). I discover a very nice song. Wonderful performance, perfect guitar playing. Big like 6 my friend. Joseph
Love the lovely conversations I have with this brother of mine. Wished he lived here in Australia. This song is one of my favourites. Miss you Nick xxx💜
Genuinely may be my favorite cover of this song I’ve seen. Your guitar play is sweet and soft but never gets boring with how you alternate embellishments and your vocals are so full of intent and emotion I am blown away, man. Thanks for posting this - makes me want to look deeper into my own playing of this song!
Love this interpretation. Spot on. It’s like there are two versions of this song. I love this version by JB. But, my favorite version is the original Nico timing and execution.
Joseph. Tell your wife thanks. But you have what we in the UK think of as a classic French (I'm assuming you are French) accent. Which many of us find fascinating to listen - especially in song. I think I have a tenor voice. so can't really get the lows but neither the really highs. It can be frustrating. Someone like Jackson Brown can get the real lows and highs all round. Or used to in his heyday. I just try to make the song my own as if I'm singing about my own experience and it seems to work for me. However, I do tend to make mistakes and slips on the guitar that I can't help. And this is where I admire you as you make it seem effortless.
Hello Nick and thank you for sharing some words with me. Concerning the music, we are just amateurs, so we appreciate, and waht one cannot do, the other can, etc. Yes I am french, but I feel more like world citizen ( having spend 30 years away) and my wife is korean. See you in the next video ( I will do something on the weekend fo Dylan's birthday). Joseph

Just to point out that JBs version is the original. He wrote the song.
Very nice! What's your tuning on this one?
It just ordinary concert pitch with capo on second fret.
Great job
Thanks
Thank you What more can I say ....😌
I invited my wife to listen to this one. She likes it very much. She said you sing so well....(makes me a little jealous, héhé, but she is right)
