Thank you for the tip and the lead to the replacement part. Got mine and saved a lot. It is very strong, and the hood bounced when I installed 2. Decided to just install 1, and keep the weak worn original part on the other side. Moves up just right!
Thank you for your video! You aptly note that you don't need pop the clip our when you are installing the new lift struts. You simply push them on and they pop into place. This may not be obvious to everyone (unless they've done it before); but because you have to use a screwdriver to pop the clip out to get the old struts off, you don't need to partially pull out the clip on the new struts in order to install them. If you make this mistake, they are a bitch to get back on Lol.

Glad it helped! They definitely are strong, mine have since worn down a little bit but it still pops up real fast!
Yup, I’d been putting this one off too. Super easy! Thank you!
This video was so helpful! thank you sir!

Thanks, it helped, a lot
Glad it helped! :)
The key shown is how to get the strut off. The strut end doesn't just "pop off" the ball. A clip must be pried. Thank you.
The Porsche struts fail all the time
The replacements are still working fine 👌🏻
Too Easy!
I shouldn’t have put off this small job for almost 2 years lol!
