Port matching your cylinder head may seem like a intimidating project but it's really not that bad. Get the right tools, take your time, and you'll be just fine. You're going to need a die grinder, some sandpaper rolls, scotchbright wheels, and a die grinder extension!
Once you have those, jump right into the project, you're ready.

i have never done something this extensive on a car but i have this head in my 75' from what i have read its one of the best out of the L6 series bunch! people use it on stroker builds also. Also that book California Bills is gold i have 2 of this books they are a really good read and very accurate for doing some business on a L series motor.

I heard the same! That’s the plan eventually to modify this head and pair it with a stroker bottom end :) I agree the book was really good, super detailed!
