Not just for vr but gaming in general. Flatscreen felt nothing but outdated and ancient. It is time for it to disappear and moving foward with the modern tech with vr
DFR, well optimized VR titles and 5090's should get us close to this at around 2.5 to 3k per eye so within the next few years. I really hope that Quest 4 has eye tracking, this way we will get DFR in a lot of new apps
@@marcludwig6215 no way does it look anywhere near as good. Every VR chat video I've seen just looks like cartoon graphics with a bunch of weird furries.
@@djp1234 So instead of looking it up you just judge instantly because of a memory you have? Its obv not the same flat screen AAA quality but it might be worth a shot for you
Great point. My own Q3 is fantastic, but I need a better PC for high-end rendering in PCVR games. Might need to build my own so that I can stretch the acquisition over 4-6 months (I don't like credit cards).
Guys, with the exponential growth of AI, this will be the norm far sooner than I think anybody is saying right now. Maybe this is too bold of me, and I don’t have a crystal ball or anything, but I think the end of 2024 is going to look a heck of a lot different than the beginning of 2024.
With tech, it's like that every year, but not everyone can afford the hardware or upgraded Internet to really enjoy the tech at its early adoption pricing. So, there is a common delay, even with AI in the mix. Don't get me wrong, I know what your saying, but the wonders and advancements at the end of 2024 still needs pre and final coding, beta testing, perhaps even new hardware... thus often taking a year or more before release. AI will not substantially change that... yet. And when it does it will surely cost you.
ever since seeing some UE5 stuff, I just accepted how the graphics go crazy and nothing surprises me anymore. Its priceless watching people seeing it for the first time being so surprised while Im looking at it as if its just a casual tuesday though.
UE is impressive in terms of illumination but as it comes to physics it looks same as it been 20 years ago.. whole scene is like stitched with nails , an decoration, where there are no wind blowing, no ripples on a pond, no leaves wobbling..
In creating this video did you experience the shakiness in your headset? It's unfortunately pretty bad. I would have gotten very sick watching this in VR. On my PC I had to minimize the window to counter it. Even my monitor was too large. Otherwise, it will be very exciting if we can get this caliber of graphics on a headset.
I tried this unreal engine vr injector on my tiny 1080 ti card. Even though it was a little janky it blew my mind.2 games I tried was stray and jedi fallen order. Yup I'm going to upgrade to an nvidia 4080.
I wish these games didn't change the brightness when you go into a bright area. Your eyes are supposed to adjust to it naturally. That would be more realistic.
Ok, so the recording must not be translating well from what you were seeing. I couldn't stop laughing when you were saying stuff like, "this is the most incredible thing I've ever seen" and we were watching a shaky mess. lol
Okay, I'm calling you out. You clearly bought a plane ticket to Africa and trekked out to the middle of the Sahara to film this. (People are going to think I'm serious if I don't include this disclaimer, aren't they?)
Bro. I love your channel that I subscribe to and the information you offer us. But, is it necessary that when you talk while you are in VR, you constantly move your head jumping? It is very dizzying and we cannot appreciate anything of what you are seeing. I'm not saying this to offend you, just as advice so that you understand that behind your recordings, there are people watching everything in plain view and it's very dizzying. When you look, you can do so with less sudden movements. Crouching or leaning to show that we are in VR. Bringing your gaze closer to objects. Everything that cannot be done in 2D games. They are small tips that would make your videos more enjoyable. Thank you bro for your tremendous work. The environment you are showing us looks spectacular.
Within my lifetime, this will become the norm for VR, and I can't wait.
You mean around 2026? You think you won’t make it til then?
@@LeesReviews69 huh? I expect to live an average lifespan. In the next 50 years VR will reach this point and go far beyond it.

UE5, Parkinsons edition.
lol exactly
was about to write exactly that wtf man

Funniest damn comment here! 😂😂😂
I really want to experience Avatar Frontiers of Pandora in VR. That's the most beautiful jungle.
If you have a pc, vrchat has a room where you ride an animal through a Pandora inspired world. It's four players, too.

Avatar frontiers of pandora in VR would be amazing!!!
Realistically our eyes focus everything, no matter the distance. But that is extremely beautiful.
When a quest user finally gets a pc. I know I've definitely been there

You should stabilize the footage in the video editor because it’s hard to watch with all the shaking :(
Well done on the 2160 output, makes a world of difference, cheers to you

Everything is made from actual photos, videos of the objects. They are simply converted into vector based images.
I need a Dune experience ASAP!
Pair this with varifocal lenses or some eye tracking magic in order to change focus base on what you are looking and wow
I've done nanite/lumen test in VR and I get around 45fps currently. It's "almost" there. Good times
what GPU?

Nice video, but you should definitely look into an image stabilization filter. It'll make this a lot more watchable :)
why are you shaking?
He’s to excited
It's the game
He's cold
Makes me sick to watch it
Cause vr i picking up all the micro movemnets he makes if you weere to record vr youd have some to
Are you gonna go over the UEVR Injector for Unreal Engine? Its the coolest VR application every
Great video showcase. TH-cam has an automatic video stabilizer you could try for highly unstable footage
Crysis 4 VR 👍.
Maximum Game.
Fun fact: this will make your vr headset and your pc explode
That's why we pump up our PCs.
How did you get this working in VR? I bought it, but it is not obvious. More info please!!!
Can you do ready or not in vr?
Do humans naturally shake this much?
Cool now turn this into Rust, Ark survivial , dayz, or palworld VR and everyone will be buying a Vr headset 🤣
Hi Matt. I purchased the UE demo. What did you do to make it go VR for the Quest 3?
How are you running this is VR? I downloaded the demo but there is no option to run it in VR, I have a Varjo Aero?
BMF! Been a long time you inspired to get virtual reality, have a great day!

What did you use to get VR to work?
Watch TH-cam videos on unreal vr injector.
Make a TOP __ UEVR GAMES series...you can do TOP gameplay, TOP 1st person, 3rd person, visuals, etc :)
Is the DEMO native VR? Or did you hook it via UEVR?

ive got ARK ascended looking like this in UEVR mod. Samples on my channel
Bring it to the Vision Pro
Cool video! Can I run it in good quality with a 4070 ti? Thanks man!
Good quality will happen on your rig with the vr injector
I hope blade and sorcery uses this for their campaign lol
good to see you putting that 4090 to use :D
got dizzy from the jitters, otherwise looks cool
Nice!
In what GPU and headset are you running this scene?
Thanks.
Looking good Matt. Been working out?
How did you get it running in VR?
Looks like a Far Cry game
Do you have any other ur engine 5 experiences you would recommend?
Depends on what games you like. The ones I personally recommend is lies of p and robocop
Try and use stabilisation on the next one that was hard to watch
It’s a Meta Quest 3?
well, not on vision pro
why you are so shaky
This video had really bad judder. to the point of making me seasick. Could you smooth it out next time?
Why does it shake so much?????
Does anyone know what the Quest+ games for February are?
so much shaking!!
